Monday, February 20th

They both sat on Enid's bed "Conversion therapy camp?" Enid nodded as Raven helped her clean the snot out of her face.

"For ware wolves" she specified "but I told them to go to hell with it...I'm not gonna go" Raven nodded empathetically "of course not, you don't need to go" Enid continued to sniffle

"Enid you are amazing" she began as she rubbed soothing circles on her back "And even if you're not gonna wolf out, who cares!" "Raven I would be abandoned by my pack, I'd be inadequate and singled out!" Raven looked at her, not sure what to say to make her feel better.

"Then we can be inadequate, abandoned and singled out together" this cracked a smile on Enid's face who threw her arms around her lovingly....she had a sister now.

The door burst out of nowhere, revealing Wednesday with two huge shovels in hand.

Raven looked at her perplexed "Do I want to know?" Wednesday smirked "we are going digging"

"Mom said Garrett was foaming at the mouth, and that his eyes looked almost inhuman" the two cousins sped walked towards the cemetery
"You know what those are textbooks symptoms of" Raven didn't need to think about it too much.

"Is that why we have shovels? To dig up his body?" She asked "yes" Wednesday replied swiftly "Also, it was mom who killed him, dad just took the blame" she added in before further picking up their pace.

They arrived in front of his grave where Morticia stood gracefully. The two cousins began digging as Morticia smiled down at them.

"This reminds me of when you got your first grave-digging kit" Morticia said longingly "you were so happy you nearly smiled...Raven you were always more of a guillotine young girl" Raven smiled and nodded.

"Sacred words" she said as she continued to shovel dirt "are you sure you don't want to join us?" Wednesday asked.

"Uh... mm... No, that's okay, darling. I don't want to spoil your fun" they reached the coffin and opened it up with little struggle.

"Moment of truth" Wednesday whispered as she began to analyze his body "we were right" she finally whispered.

Before any of them could celebrate, police light flashed in their eyes "Well, well, what do we have here?" Officer Santiago laughed "Guess there's gonna be an Addams family reunion in lockup tonight...the three of you are under arrest"

The three women got escorted from the police to the police department and got thrown into a cell right next to Gomez.

"Get comfortable" said Sheriff Galpin "You can post bail in the morning" Sheriff Galpin didn't even end his sentence before Morticia and Gomez latched their arms around one another through the bars.

"Not even the long arm of the law could keep us apart" Morticia exclaimed looking intensely into Gomez's eyes "At least we'll have one last night together" he breathed out before continuing their ferocious make out session.

Raven rolled her eyes while Raven completely turned the other way. Watching people kissing soo passionately made her internally gag.

Wednesday audibly groaned "I've seen jackals with more self-control than you two" the two of them looked at Wednesday, arms still latched around each other though the bars "neither one of you are strong enough to serve hard time, and thanks to me and Raven, you won't have to"

"I knew our little jailbird would have an escape plan" Gomez chuckled proudly. Wednesday searched through her pockets, pulling out the rotten and putrefied finger she ripped off earlier "It's a souvenir from our outing, we borrowed it from Garrett"

"He died from nightshade poisoning" Raven dded on as she inched closer to the finger, pointing at the less decomposed parts "the remarkable preservation of soft tissue and blue tint confirms it"

Wednesday nodded in agreement "Which means Garrett was dying..." she said "before you stabbed him" Gomez audibly gasped "You look even more ravishing as an innocent woman" Morticia smile before throwing herself once again into Gomez arms, tongues in each other's mouths.

Raven internally groaned before exclaiming "For once, could you two get off of each other and focus?"

"Thank you for seeing us at such short notice, Mr. Mayor." Morticia greeted "Yes, well, veiled threats have that effect" responded the Mayor referring to the very gruesome letter Raven left in his mail box demanding an audience.

"Garrett Gates wasn't killed by a stab wound" Wednesday stated bluntly to which the mayor cleared his throat clearly uncomfortable.

"That blue sheen is a telltale sign of nightshade poisoning" Raven added on "But you already knew that, didn't you?" She taunted confidently

"Because back when you were sheriff, you were in charge and covered it up" Wednesday added, clearly trying to push him to confess. Mayor Walker exhaled deeply as he readjusted himself in the leather chair.

"Ansel Gates hated outcasts and Nevermore...he claimed the land the school was built on was stolen from his family over 200 years ago. Garrett went there that night to spike the punch and kill all the kids at that dance... he confessed the whole thing to me in a drunken stupor. It was his idea" Mayor Walker began confessing

"Why did you instruct Dr. Anwar to falsify the autopsy report?" Wednesday demanded "You knew the truth about how he really died"

"Listen, my job was to keep the peace" he tried to justify "If there had been a trial, Jericho's and Nevermore's reputations would have been trashed"

Morticia scoffed "I think the only reputation you were worried about ruining was your own" she said "I remember Garrett bragging to me that his father had the sheriff in his pocket" She added while slowly inching closer to the Mayor's desk "One year later, you get elected mayor, No doubt with the full support of Ansel Gates"

"I resent your implication" the Mayor grew aggravated. Morticia slammed her palm on the polished wooden desk "What I resent is that you could have prevented Garrett's death if you had done your job when I lodged my complaint about him stalking me" she grew more aggravated

"But no...men like you have no idea what it feels like not to be believed" The Mayor sighted in defeat "What do you want?" He asked, a smirked began to grow on the women's faces

"All charges dropped" Raven said, Wednesday nodded "My father will be released immediately with a full and unequivocal apology from the sheriff's office" Morticia extended her perfectly manicured hand towards the dumbfounded Mayor "Do we have a deal?"

The three women exited the Mayor's office victorious and relieved.
"You were very impressive in there" Wednesday complimented her mother for the first time in years.

Morticia smiled, although immediately got to the matter at hand...the visions Wednesday had in the graveyard earlier that day "When did your visions began?" She asked. Raven looked at the two and took it as her que to leave "I'll be in my dorm if you need me" she said.

She placed her chunky black headphones on her head and began walking towards her dorm, happy and serene.
