I stared in the mirror looking at myself in my wedding gown with my hair in a half up- half down with slight curls and a light glitter tan eyeshadow with light maroon lipstick and a long sleeve dress with a layered skirt.
" You look stunning" my maid of honor, Stephanie, complimented me
" thank you" I replied, " do you think Soda will like it?"
" Sara, he is going to lose his dang mind once he sees how beautiful you look" she placed my silver flower crown with the veil on my head. All of the girls helped finish getting me ready as I fantasized about the moment that I thought would never come, Walking down the aisle to the love of my life.

Soda's P.O.V.

I stood there fidgeting with my fingers as I awaited the moment when I would see the love of my life walk down the aisle. I was so excited to finally be married to her but terrified that I might screw up, Man, Wedding jitters suck!
" How you doin' Soda man?" asked Two-Bit
" Pretty nervous" I responded
" That's normal, man" Replied Dally, the only married one of us, surprisingly, " You'll be fine, unless you stall while you're saying 'I do' then she'll think you don't want to marry her, and run off crying never to be seen again"
" DALLAS!" Darry scolded
" what I'm just telling the kid what not to do!" He defended
" don't stall when saying 'I do', got it"
" you got this, big bro" pony said while patting my back
" Thanks, Ponyboy" I replied with a slight smile
" go on kid, your bride is waiting for ya," Steve said

Sara's pov

It's time. Finally, the long-awaited moment arrived. I held my father's arm as he led me down the aisle to where Sodapop awaited me, eyes glistening. I would lie if I said I didn't have a few of my own, I couldn't help but think about my mother who died when I was twelve due to cancer. I just wish she could have met the man who I'm about to call my husband, oh what I would give! My father handed me to Soda,  and he held my hands looking at me in admiration and love, I blushed. He looks so handsome in a suit, though I prefer him in jeans and flannel anyway.

" Sara Jones, from when I first met you I was taken aback by how you treated everyone equally no matter their class; though that does not mean you don't know how to beat someone up cuz girl can you ever! I am so grateful to have you in my life and I can't live without you; I love you so much and I want to share the rest of my life with you. You bring me so much joy and you have given me the confidence that I don't need to hide anything. With this ring I pledge to you all I am, I promise to always be there for you no matter what" he vowed as he slipped the ring onto my finger with happy tears in his eyes and a smile.

"Sodapop Curtis, The love I have for you is immeasurable; I love your stunning way of being on the inside and outside. I couldn't imagine my life without you. You have always been there for me and I promise I'll always be there for you. I can't believe that in a few minutes I'll have the honor to call you my husband. I love you with all my heart and promise to never hurt you." I promised, slipping his ring on his finger.

Finally, we shared our first kiss as husband and wife, I couldn't believe it! I was finally married to the love of my life! Someone who treats me with respect and loves me unconditionally, Sara Curtis, I love the sound of that.
Soda's smile plastered on his face lit up the room, I had one of my own as we split from the kiss.  I was so glad to know that he was just as anxious to get married as I was, I truly love him with all my heart and I know he loves me. The reception and ceremony were beautiful; but most importantly, I know the marriage will be even more beautiful.
