I sighed heavily as I studied a case that seemed near impossible to defend, to make matters worse my client was among one of the rudest people I have ever met. I sat there in my office pen in one hand as I rubbed circles on my forehead with the other. I heard a knock at my office door, I rose from my seat and answered the door, I was pleasantly surprised to see it was my husband. "Soda! What are you doing here?"
" I came to see how my beautiful wife was doing" he smiled, but his smile quickly faded" you okay? You ain't lookin so good, honey"
" I'm just frazzled, really, but I can't stop till I get through this case" I replied sitting back down
" Baby, you really ought to take a break, please, you're pregnant and stress ain't good for the baby. Plus, You think better with a clear and calm mind" he reasoned as he massaged my shoulders, I closed my eyes as I practically melted in his touch that I missed for the past few hours.

" Please baby, please take a break" he begged, I set my pen down and turned to face him. I let myself melt into him as we hugged, " Now how bout we go home?" He proposed, "Sounds great " I replied with a smile. "There's that smile I love" he gushed, I blushed and quickly got my stuff together as we got ready to go home.

Soda and I walked hand in hand to his car and once we arrived home, he insisted he works on dinner as I changed into a sweatshirt and sweatpants. I came back out once I was dressed and wrapped my arms around my husband. I peered over his shoulder to see he was cutting a frozen pizza he had baked, he put the pizza cutter down and lifted me up with a grunt and a grin. I squealed in delight as he carried me over to the couch where he covered me with a blanket and handed me the TV remote. He headed back into the kitchen and came back out with the pizza and two bowls of ice cream. I am so lucky to have a husband like him who is always looking out for me, I can be one to easily overwork myself and burn myself out but lucky Soda keeps me in check. We watched an episode of Little House on the Prairie as we ate the pizza and ice cream he had prepared. "Thank you, Soda ,and Thank you for convincing me to take a break"
" You are very welcome, darling I love you"
" I love you too, babe"
