Chapter 39: The Child of the Sea

~(10 months earlier)~

While Lucy was on a job with Rain, Sera, Adrienne, and Haruki, a girl with black hair and piercing ice blue eyes enters the guild. Sting and Rogue stand in front of everyone not allowing her to enter.

"May I ask who you are?" Sting asks. Helia and Raiya stand next to them and smell the girl.

"It's ok Sting-kun. She means no harm. She's Lucy's long lost cousin." Raiya assures. "Ehhhh?!" Sting stands down and Rogue is unsure.

Helia quickly transforms into a human before Rogue did anything stupid. "Rogue, it's ok. Raiya said to stand down. She means no harm."

She turns to the girl. "What's your name?" She asks. "My name is Kanika in search for my cousin, Lucy Dreyar." The guild is shocked and Sting looks at her up and down.

"May I join the guild?" She asks.

"Yes of course, just follow me right this way to Master's office." Raiya replies.

Helia returns to normal form and walks beside the black wolf. "Rogue, I feel unsure about this girl." Sting says. Rogue rolls his eyes. "I couldn't care less."

-Meanwhile-

Lucy's P.O.V

Rain, Sera and I are fighting against some mages from a dark sub-guild who is apart of the Baram Alliance.

"Lucy! Use your roar and give it your all!" A certain, young Aozora hollered. "Hai!! Ik so!" I get ready even though we're low on magic energy. "Sky Dragon Roar!" I chant.

Sera's P.O.V

Rain is spinning through the sky as I spot her using the attack's rotation. "Ice Dragon Crushing Fang!" I say.

I slam down on a member and he's knocked out cold. All four of us were out of power and we barely had the strength to stand.

"Come on you guys!! We can't give up yet! That won't happen!!" Lucy shouts.

"But Lucy, we're all out of power and we don't want to eat." Rain says. "Why? Eating your element replenishes your energy and increases your power." She replies.

"But then we run out faster. But Rain, Lucy, I think you two are the only ones who defeat the rest of them. We can't do what you do.....eat the air."

Rain and Lucy nod.

"All of us can't eat because we aren't air or sky dragon slayers. So we rely on you both to defeat the rest of them."

Rain's P.O.V

"Lucy, we should do a Unison Raid with my fire and your poison." She nods. "Hai." Shall we?" Lucy nods. "Ik so!"

We tilt our heads back start sucking in air. We ate for 5 minutes to replenish our energy completely. Once that happened, we attacked with all we got.

"Magic Fusion! Unison...Raid!" We chanted. A large mix of poison and fire spin towards the guild members of Blue Skull.

Lucy's P.O.V

Where have I heard that guild name? Was it from Gramps? It's gotta be.

If I defeat the guild, then...no, it can't be.

Will she come back? No, she was killed on Tenrou Island. But would she be resurrected if I disband this guild called Blue Skull?

Who could Lucy be talking about? If this anonymous person returns, then will the rest who died with that girl return as well?
