Chapter 23: The Shadowy Sea
Two opponents stand in the arena with a silent face off. The audience tense to see who will make the first move. A boy with dark blue hair with eyes that are like caramel at age 16 enters. He wore black pants and a maroon waistcoat with silver trims.
His opponent had short dark purple hair covering her green eyes wearing a black t-shirt with a halter vest. She wore a band wrapped around her right arm just above her elbow and black gloves showing her fingertips.
She had green capris and black combat high heel wedged boots with a purple stripe straight down the middle, in the shape of a cross.
"My name is Dahlia, I'm a proud member of Fairy Tail." she introduces herself.
"My name is Brooks, a member of Sabertooth. You're going down." replies the boy with ocean blue hair. "You're talking quite a good game there."
~(Battle below)~
Dahlia: Dark Nova!
Brooks: Water Breath!
Dahlia: Nani? You're a water mage?
Brooks: *mind: good thing Lucy, Adrienne and Sera trained me before the GMG's started.* Yeah, but there's another power I got at my hands. Do you have a problem with that fairy scum?
Dahlia: Don't you dare call me that. And you'd better not underestimate Fairy Tail. We take revenge for people who hurt our comrades.
Brooks: *sarcastically* Ooh, I'm so scared.
Dahlia: Evil Explosion!
Brooks: Acid Insertion!
Dahlia: Evil Push!
Brooks: Water God Bellow!
Dahlia: Since when were you a god slayer?
Brooks: I trained with Poseidon and the all creatures of water. Even the water dragon and water celestial spirits.
Dahlia: This ain't over yet.
Brooks: Boiling Water Blast!
Dahlia: Darkness Stream!
Brooks: River Fireworks!
Dahlia: *panting heavily* I can't b-be out of m-magic power already.
Brooks: HA!! Sucks for you, I still have a ton of magic energy left.
Dahlia: Dark Deflect!
Brooks: *eats the attack*
Dahlia: NANDA?! How can you eat that attack if you're not a dragon hunting wizard or even a dark mage?
Brooks: I'd rather not answer that question.
Dahlia: Fine, then this is it. Shadow Knuckle!
Brooks: Nope, not quite. Shadow Manipulation!
The purple haired dark mage's attack turns around from Brooks and surges forward back to Dahlia and attacks her like a punching bag.
Dahlia: NO!! I can't lose to you!!
Brooks: Did you?
Dahlia: NO!!! I can't...I'm sorry Fairy Tail, but I have to cast this spell.
Natsu: Huh? We never knew there was a spell that might be fatal to dark mages like you.
Dahlia: Well, there is. And I'm going to cast it to win. For me. FOR FAIRY TAIL!!!
Brooks: Don't tell me...is it that one?
Dahlia: *nods*
Brooks: If you use that spell, it can kill me and you. DON'T USE IT!!
Dahlia: Why should I listen to you?
Brooks: JUST BECAUSE WE'RE ENEMIES, DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU CAN CAST THAT SPELL!!
Dahlia: Why?
Brooks: *tears form* BECAUSE MY PARENTS DIED FROM THAT SPELL AND I WATCHED IT HAPPEN!!!
Lucy: Brooks...
Brooks: So, if you want to kill me, then fine. Cast your stupid spell.
Lucy/Natsu: DON'T DO IT!!
Dahlia: *falls on knees and sobs* I-I'm sorry. I didn't realize that they died.
