Chapter 61: Karaoke Night

After listening to a long lecture about evil people undercover from Rain, I suggested something that I wanted tonight to be a night, unforgettable. 

"Oy minna, we should go to the bar and have karaoke night." I suggested. "I have a song I wanted to dedicate to someone. And I want him to be there."

Everyone rolled their eyes except Mira. "Yes! One of my OTPs will finally become canon!!" She squeals.

I laughed hysterically. Mira rushes out of the hotel and decided to do God-knows-what.

Mira's P.O.V

I can't believe that finally, one of my OTPs will  go cannon. Eek! I arrived at the Honeybone Inn and decided to invite Natsu, Erza, Gray, Nira, Sumi, Naoki, Plear, and Nayuki. I knocked on one of the doors and Erza answers it.

"Hey Mira what's going on?" She asks. "Well, there's a bar nearby having karaoke night. I was wondering if you, Gray, Natsu, and his biological family can come too. We're personally inviting you." I smiled.

Erza smiled back. "We'd be honored to come." I squealed. "Eek! Thanks! We'll see you guys in two hours."

Ezra's eyes widen and I giggled. "Here's the address to the bar and we'll see you there." I left from the Honeybone with a smirk on my face.

Natsu's P.O.V

I heard the door shut and once that happened, Erza rushes into the room. "Hey minna, Mira just personally invited to a bar and we're having karaoke night. We're leaving in 90 minutes."

"Why?!" Gray whines. "Shut it Gray, now let's go. We get to spend time with some of our former comrades. They're still our friends even though they're not apart of Fairy Tail anymore."

I smiled. "Count me in!"

I quickly get changed and out the door. We arrive at the bar and Lucy is sitting at a table closest to the stage.

I sneak up behind her and catch her by surprise. She squealed. "Bahaha!!" I laughed. She smacked my arm.

"Ow! That hurt!" I pouted. She giggled. "That's what you get for startling me." A young woman heads toward the stage and says.

"Good evening everyone. I'm happy that all of you are here tonight. Karaoke night tonight has officially started. Enjoy!"

Everyone cheered. Then a certain blonde stands up and walks toward the stage. "Go Lucy! Sing it for the world!" Mira shouted. Laxus sat next to her with his arm wrapped around her waist.

Lucy walks toward the mic and says.

"Hey guys, I am the one who personally invited you all here. Mira wanted to tell you in person. I would like to dedicate a song to you, Fairy Tail."

She stares at me. "Natsu, this song is yours."

Everyone claps and cheers. Even me. I walk up to the stage and Lucy is looking at me with tears in her eyes.

"Thanks for the song. It was beautiful. But not as beautiful as you." She blushes. I pull in an embrace and she buries her head in my chest.

"I've been waiting for you to hear this." She replies. "I finally did. Because I came." The rest of the night we partied and drank. We parted ways just outside the door of the bar.

"Good night, Luce." I smiled.

"Oyāsumi, Natsu." She walks up to me and pecks my forehead. But I grab her face and direct her toward my lips. We touched and I swear my body started to tingle.

I don't know why. But it was something that I've been desperately trying to get off my shoulders. I pull away and her eyes were wide.

"W-Wh-Why did you th-that?" She stammered.

"I don't know, I just wanted to. And because I want you to come back to Fairy Tail. I miss you."

"I know, I do too. But in order for me to rejoin, I have to talk with Roxy, Naomi, Tamiko, Laxus, Mira, Keira, and Gajeel. I don't even know if they want to come back. We'll all talk together."

Lucy's P.O.V

I nodded in understanding. "Ok, I'll give you some time to think. You have until the end of the Games to decide."

The rest of the night we jammed to music. Natsu ended up grinding against me. I did back. I smirked. "That feels good." I hear him say.

"You're good." I reply.

Natsu puts his head over my shoulder and rests his ear on it. Our lips are less than a millimeter away. Without hesitation, he leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back.

The seven of us all head back to the inn and rest up for tomorrow's events. Besides, I realized that I'm fighting Team Sabertooth tomorrow.

I forgot the king wanted that arranged. Once we arrived at our room, I collapsed on the bed and passed out. I was too tired to change into PJs.

"Good night, Natsu. Fairy Tail. I promise that I'll return. I don't know what Celestial Guardians will do without me. But Fairy Tail will always be my real home."

After that, I closed my eyes and fell asleep peacefully.
