"I'M HOME..."

NAGI'S VOICE ECHOED through the seemingly empty foyer of his shared apartment. His lazy eyes scanned the dark interior, looking from the kitchen to the living room - empty. He raised an eyebrow at this, slipping his shoes off as he entered his home.

He set his bags down, his shoulders tense from lifting the heavy gear inside the duffel. He dragged himself towards the base of the staircase that led upstairs, flicking on the lights to brighten the room. Stepping into the kitchen, he opens the fridge in search of ingredients to make himself a late night dinner. He hummed quietly, looking up and down for something simple and easy to make.

"Sei?"

Nagi's gaze flickered over to the base of the staircase, watching as you descended the stair in his oversized hoodie. It was a familiar sight, one welcomed after such a long day.

"You're home finally..." You threw your arms around him drowsily, yawning as you nuzzled into his shoulder, breathing heavily. His scent filled your nose, causing your muscles to relax as he held you tight in his strong arms. "I thought... your game ended at five...?"

Nagi held you closer. "It did... Reo dragged me to a team dinner, but I wanted to eat your cooking... I told him it would be a hassle but he didn't listen..."

He felt your smile grow at his words, feeling the way your lips stretched into a grin etch against his skin. "Mm... And you didn't turn him down because it would be too much work to argue with him?"

Nagi hummed, confirming your suspicion. You let out a soft laugh as he nuzzled into your neck, inhaling quietly. His soft white locks brushed against your skin, tickling you.

"Did you still want me to make you dinner?" You asked quietly as you began to move towards the kitchen; turning around as Nagi followed suit. Your boyfriend slips his hand under your shirt, rubbing your stomach in a circular pattern before hooking his thumbs against the waistband of your sweatpants.

"Mm... I want udon." He hummed, breathing quietly down your neck. You brought a hand over your boyfriend's much larger ones, feeling a wave of familiar warmth wash over you as he eased into your touch.

"Plain or cheesy?" You asked, opening the cabinet hinges of the pantry to find the packs of udon you had bought just last week with Nagi.

"Mm... Cheesy... No, plain... Takes too long for the cheese to melt." He murmured, his words causing soft laughter. Unbeknownst to you, a lazy smile grew on his lips at the sound of your laugh.

"Alright, alright... But if you cling to me like this the whole time, it might take longer for me to cook, Sei."

A soft noise of complaint escaped his lips as he slowly pulled away from you, feeling the warmth escape from your body - you couldn't help but want to ask for him to embrace you once more.

"Go shower. Your udon will be ready by the time you're out." You tell your boyfriend, turning around to press a soft kiss to his cheek as an incentive to go.

Nagi naturally obliged you, though not before he kissed you swiftly on the lips before leaving. He leaned in close, pressing his lips against yours with his hand held by the side of your face, his touches were tender and fleeting. He slowly pulled away, eyes locking into yours before saying:

"I'm yours."

And just as fleeting as his kiss, he left you stupefied with a thrumming sensation in your chest. You couldn't help but smile, bringing a hand to your bottom lip as a sigh escaped your lips.

"You're so unfair, Sei..."

( 010323 ) nagi was so obviously the first character i was gonna write for so this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone hahaha - he's the character i fell in love w first so naturally, the first one shot is dedicated to him <3
