Aella's Pov

I woke up and stretched gently as opened my eyes to look at the calendar. It's my big day. I take out my bucket list and tick off the necessary ones that deal with Blaze. He's my everything. It has been tough on me recently, especially hiding the fact from Blaze that I feel a bit more sick than usual, but I'm pretty sure it's nothing.

Later on in the evening

I decided to take another shower, after I was done I dressed up in my robe. Dad knocked on the door.

"Come in.", I said and he does so.

"Hey, nugget. How are you feeling?", Dad asked me.

"I'm good dad, just getting ready for prom night.", I answered. I'm still shocked that they decided to have a particular fairytale theme, it shouldn't be too hard for me.

"Are you sure that you will be okay tonight?", Dad asked me for the fifth time already.

"I'm sure. Everything will go well.", I said as I gave him a kiss on his cheek and he went out of the room, giving me privacy to change.

I decided to use baby blue glittery eyeshadow with blue eyeliner and black mascara. And I also used pink nude lipstick that went well with the color of my lips. I know I'm dying faster and faster, I don't want to tell dad or even Blaze in case they get sad and stressed out more. If I'm going to die, I'd rather make an effort to do it in style.

I looked at the dress lying in a box, under my bed for quite a long time. I placed it on my bed. I took a deep breath in as I opened the box. I once helped a woman whose husband was beating her up and sent him to jail. I had no idea that she was a dressmaker, she took down my sizes and made this for me as a gift. Maybe I'll show her some pictures of the dress and how I would look today. I tried it on and it still fits.

A sleeveless dress that had dark blue on the top with a laced v-line soon faded to white at the bottom of the dress. I opened up my curly hair and saw that the curls were still good to go. I took some hair and did a crown braid at the back of my head, also placing some butterfly clips on my curls, which held on extremely well.
