The winter season turns out well for Zoey Smith, a twenty-four-year-old who holds the town's safety in her hands has a dark secret until someone by the name of Alexander Griffin, a rich, sadistic vampire who knows her secret decides to turn her life...
"Ladies and gentlemen! I want to introduce the host of this fantastic party for charity! Mr. Edward Scott.", the announcer said as the light shone upon the man and he gave off a slight smile and waved.
"The co-guest of this party, Mr. Alexander Griffin along with his date.", the announcer said next.
Just then, another man came behind the announcer to whisper something in his ear.
"Oh dear, and for our last beautiful guests.", the announcer stated, leaving all the other guests confused, because they remember that there were only two hosts of this party who co-founded it.
"Mr. Damien Hunter and ...", his voice trailed off due to the shock of the person who was with Damien, the guest who didn't follow the color coordination. "His beautiful date!"
Everyone's eyes widened in shock to see how Zoey was dressed up. Zoey wore a sparkly black ball gown with a sweetheart neckline and a pair of black gloves to go with it. Her hair was her good old natural dark brown color which was pin straight. Zoey held her head up high and her posture was straight. Alex clenched his jaws in frustration and walked away, leaving Sabrina alone. Edward's eyes widened in surprise to see that it was Zoey and how beautiful she looked.

"So, what exactly are we here for? And you're secretly rich?!", Zoey exclaimed with a soft whisper.
"Yes, I am, even Alex did not notice.", Damien said as he held his arm out for Zoey, which made her heart feel a bit strange.
"Wow...in that case I should have gone for you in the past!", she said softly with a light chuckle which made his smile fade away quickly.
"About that... I need to talk to you about something important.", he said softly as they walked down the flight of stairs which led to the ball. "We'll talk later though."
Zoey nodded.
As soon as they reached the ball, Damien had to attend something important so he decided to leave her alone for a little while. Zoey started to get looks from people but she quickly smiled at them which made them embarrassed, leaving them to turn their heads away. Just then, she felt a light tap on her bare shoulder which made her turn around in shock.
"May I have this dance with my beautiful Zoe?", Edward asked as he held his hand out for her.
"Oh my gosh! Edward!", Zoey exclaimed as she gave him a big hug which left them laughing. "It's so nice to see you again! I've missed you so much!", she added as she took his hand and they begin to dance.
"Not quite the event I'd expect you to turn up to and ...", he went closer to her. "Gatecrash.", Edward whispered softly in her ear.
"Well...you should know me by now....", Zoey went closer to him. "Expect the unexpected.", she whispered softly in his ear.
They both started to burst out into laughter, not caring about the looks that they received from people around them. After a while, the music started to slow down.
