Delilah didn't know how to feel about Evan having dinner with the most important people in her life.

The dinner table was laid out with a ginormous spread of food and everyone was in their conversation.

Delilah was seated between Evan and Conrad while Conrad sat beside Jeremiah and Jeremiah beside Liam

Taylor, Belly Cam, Steven, and Peter sat on the other side of the table while Susannah and laurel sat at the top of both ends.

Delilah watched as Evan and Peter talked with big smiles on their faces and her heart ached at how well he got along with her family, that was all she ever wanted.

Jeremiah didn't like the fact that Evan was here, let alone here for Delilah.

Jeremiah couldn't stop staring at the boy as he cracked jokes with Laurel and Peter or when he held conversations with belly and steven. It was off to him, he didn't fit in this family.

Delilah tried to ignore the hard stares Jeremiah gave Evan. brushing it off as a bad mood but that was not the case when it came to cam.

" So Cam, mind if call you Cam cameron ?" Jeremiah asked Cam with a grin, Cam just smiled.

"Yeah feel free, it's funny."

"Cam Camron?" Evan whispered to Delilah and the girl just squeezed his arm.

"I'll tell you later."

"I'm glad your here Cameron, you too Evan. I know both of your moms from the club, heard a lot about you two." Susannah beamed, the two boys exchanged grins with each other before turning to look at the blonde.

"Thank you so much for having me Susannah," Cam said.

'Seriously, the food is amazing." Evan added.

"Have you guys ever had miyeok-guk before? It's a Korean birthday tradition." Laurel said as she handed out plates.

"Woah it looks so good thank you," Cam said so politely that Delilah felt her heartache. Evan nodded from beside her.

'Yeah, I love Korean food, all kinds of Asian food." Evan said from beside her, Delilah's eyes widened as the three Collins stared at the boy with smiles.

"Really?" Delilah asked with a lovesick smile.

"Dude, what's your favorite?" Liam asked with a big grin as well.

Even though their mom passed and they weren't able to have as much home-cooked Asian food as before, the two of them never dismissed their Asian heritage and still held a great love for Chinese tradition and food.

"If you say sushi it doesn't count cause everyone loves sushi." Jeremiah chuckled dryly from beside Conrad and Delilah shot him a look to which he held his hands up and surrender.

"Belly told me your vegetarian so I didn't put any meat in," Laurel said to Cam.

"Why don't you eat meat, Cam Cameron?" Delilah asked curiously with a smile.

"The meat industry is like the number one contributor to global warming ... and I just like animals," Cam said with an adorable smile that made Delilah grin.

"Just don't come from my leather jacket." Taylor joked.

"I think you mean pleather."

"You know uh, Belly eats meat so you let her kiss you with those lips?" Liam smirked from beside Jeremiah and Delilah scoffed.
