Delilah realized two things that day.

Her lighter was missing, Julia probably packed it away with most of the things.

Second, she had no idea what to do with her hair.

The girl sat at her now empty vanity, combing through her long hair as she stared dully at the mirror. All the girl could think about ever since they returned from the store was her conversation with Jeremiah. How he was secretly struggling all that time, how he never wanted to drag her down with him.

She wasn't sure how to feel about any of it, especially with his thing with Belly...

Thinking about Belly made her mad and sad all over again.

"Knock knock." A voice came from her doorway and she turned to see Liam poke his head into her room.

"Hey." Delilah smiled as she turned in her chair to face him, Liam flopped onto the foot of her bed with her frown.

"I can't believe this house isn't theirs anymore," Liam said, Delilah pursed her lip.

"I didn't even know Susannah would pass it to Julia, it never crossed my mind that she had a sister. But it makes sense that she did, I just feel horrible for the guys I mean... this house." Delilah shook her head while Liam nodded.

Everyone knew how many memories they made in the house, the magic of it all.

"I keep thinking... maybe if we call Dad or Laurel, they would help them save it. We know Adam is useless, he wouldn't do shit. But Laurel and Dad loved this place as much as Suz did, they loved Jeremy and Conrad too. They could fix this." Liam said. Delilah frowned as she processed his words.

It was true. Laurel and Peter could fight for this house but ultimately...

"Julia's already sold it, even if we called them what good would it do? Julia is so set on getting rid of it and if Dad and Laurel were to find out we had all been cousins all this time? We would all be fucked." Delilah shook her head as Liam ran his hands through his hair.

"Yeah you're right, I just feel useless. This house feels like it's part of us, losing it is surreal." Liam sighed. Delilah smiled sadly.

"At least we're giving it one last happy memory." Delilah shrugged. Liam squinted.

"Speaking of happy memories, what's going on with you and Jeremiah? I saw you guys talk by the pool earlier." Liam said. Delilah blinked as her lips fell into a thin line.

"Nothing is going on. Im not even sure if I want there to be something going on." Delilah chuckled humourlessly. She proceeded to tell him everything she saw during the boardwalk showdown, how she had a gut feeling something was going on between Jeremiah and Belly, and how Belly hadn't even bothered to talk to her about it.

"Damm, that's a dick move." Liam whistled. Delilah rolled her eyes.

"I know! If she was interested in Jeremiah she should at least come to be before anything, I mean she's one of my best friends and she knows how much history there is between us. At least give me a heads-up before jumping his bones would be nice." Delilah muttered while Liam cackled.

"You know what you need Del?" Liam grinned as he pulled his sister off the chair and spun her around.

Delilah was dressed in a white tube top and a sparkly pink skirt, her hair down with white boots on. It was a retro theme after all, they had found the clothes in the garage where the movers packed everything away.

"What do I need?" Delilah smiled. Liam's eyes twinkled.

"A good fucking drink."
