Lewis, the girls, and I are sitting in the cafe listening to Miriam sing for karaoke night. Emma says "you've got to admit it. she can sing." I shrug and say "yeah." Wilfred goes on the stage and says "let's hear it for Miriam." and most people clap except Rikki and me. Rikki goes and talks to Wilfred. Lewis says "I hate Karaoke. it's just a bunch of wannabes searching for their 15 minutes of fame. I think it's quite deluded." I say "hey, many celebs got their start from Karaoke. like Taylor swift." He shrugs. Wilfred calls "And our next contestant is Madison Scott!" I go wide-eyed and say "No. I didn't sign up." Rikki says "I signed you up." I glare at her and say "how could you do that?!" and I run out of the cafe and head to the docks.

I sit at the docks and just look over the water. Dallas walks over and sits beside me. I continue looking at the water. he asks "Mads? are you okay?" I smile sadly and look at him and say "I don't think I am, Dallas." he looks at me sadly and says "can I help?" I say "I don't think so." I start to cry slightly. he asks "is it dad?" I nod slightly. he says "well, I know I'm not dad but I'll always be here." I smile and say "I know, Dallas. but it's not the same." he asks "what did he do? I thought you loved him?" I say "I do love him that's why this hurts so much. he, um, he won't fight for us. for me. he won't fight for me." I start to sob uncontrollably. he hugs me and says "I'm sorry Mads." I wipe my tears and smile. I say "thanks, Dallas." he nods and stands up putting his hand out for me. I smile and take his hand and we walk home. on our walk, he says "who needs dad when you got SuperDallas to the rescue." I laugh and say "exactly!" and we continue to joke and laugh on our walk home.

I head to Cleo's with the girls. tonight is the full moon so we are spending it together to prepare ourselves. we ring the doorbell and Cleo opens it. she says "hey, Guys. come in. everything's been set up. heaps to drink. pizza has been ordered." Rikki says "cool, what movies did you get?" she says confused "I thought you were getting the movies." Lewis walks in and says "evening ladies. now, I wasn't sure what film you'd like, so, I thought I'd play it safe. And I got a chick flick. But I did get two horror movies as well." Rikki asks "Lewis, what are you doing here?" he asks "what?" she repeats "what are you doing here?" he says "duh, I'm here to help. remember, I'm the only one not affected by the full moon. plus you need extra help with Madison. so, if anyone falls asleep, I'll be right beside you." Don, Cleo's dad asks from the stairs "will you now?" we all turn to look at him shocked. Lewis says "hello, Mr. Setori." Don says "I've got my eye on you." Cleo says "Dad!" his wife comes down and says "Don." don looks to me and says "hey, Madison. how're things at home." I smile and say "getting better, Don, thank you for asking." he smiles. Emma and Rikki look at Cleo and me confused. Cleo says "she stays here when things get bad at home." they nod. Kim, Cleo's little sister comes over and grabs Lewis' arm, and says "Don't worry, Lewis. you can sit with me." I say to the girls "this is gonna be a long night." they nod and we all head into the living room.
