Chapter 3

CHARLOTTE POV.

I woke up by the birds chirping and the sun beaming threw my window, and Hayes snoring, he is a really loud snorer. I woke up and decided to go down stairs where I saw Nash in the kitchen, "Good morning," I said walking down the stairs. "Hey, how did you sleep?" He asked. "Pretty good besides Hayes snoring," I giggled, "Yeah, he is a pretty bad snorer," He replied, we both started to laugh. "What do you want for breakfast?" "Oh, I'm not really a breakfast person. At the orphaning they didn't give us breakfast so I adapted to it," I told him. "Oh okay, well anything to drink?" He asked. "Sure, milk will be good," I said with a smile.

"How was your first night?" He asked as he sat next to me. "It was pretty good, I feel so lucky, I haven't been this happy since before my mom and brother died," "Well that is a good thing that your happy again!" He said as he hugged me. "Hey," Hayes said as he walked down the stairs. "Hi," Nash and I said at the same time, we both started laughing, next thing dad came down stairs. "Good morning!" He said. "Good morning," I replied. "I was thinking, what do you want to do about school?" He asked me. "I've never really been to a proper school before," I told him. "Well, I go to this really good private school, can she come with me?" Hayes asked. I actually liked Hayes, I thought of him as my older brother. "Can I?" I asked, "If you really want too," He replied. "Thank you!" I yelled as I got off of the chair I was sitting on and hugged him. "When can I start?" I asked. "Tomorrow?" "Yes! Thanks dad!" I said while I hugged him.

Dad, Nash and Hayes decided to take me shopping for school stuff since I was starting tomorrow, I was actually pretty excited. I went and had a shower and got changed into jeans with a sweater, since it was pretty cold, I went downstairs, "Are you ready?" Nash asked me, I nodded my head. The guys took me to a large shopping mall, girls started to act crazy, they started to give me really dirty looks too. "Why are they looking at me like that?" I asked as we tried to get threw a large crowd of girls. "They probably think that you are dating Hayes," Dad said. "What! Why?" "Because you look his age and you are hanging out with us," Nash said. "So they don't know that you adopted me?" I asked as we finally got into a shop where no girls were at. "Not yet," Dad said, honestly I didn't really mind, it's just those girls were pretty mean.

MATT POV.

I decided to take Charlotte shopping for school stuff since she was starting school tomorrow with Hayes. Girls were out today and they were acting really crazy, especially towards Char. We finally got to a small shop where we decided 'hide'. "Does this happen often?" She asked looking pretty shocked. "Yeah, a lot," Nash replied. I decided that I would call Shawn to fake tweet that he was at the other side of the mall so we could escape. Next thing you knew the girls ran off. "Quick, lets go before they come back," Hayes said. I grabbed Charlottes hand and we quickly ran towards the exit. 

We finally got home and Charlotte had everything that she needed. "Jack, Jack, Taylor and Carter is coming over today," I told Char, her face automatically lit up. "Really, when?" She asked. "About 20 minutes," I told her, "Hey, I have a friend in the orphanage, her name is Kate and she is 16, I was wondering if I could go and see her some time?" She asked me. "Yeah, well Gilinsky is actually going over that side of town so I can ask him to take you if you want?" I asked her. "Yes please!" She yelled grabbing everyone's attention in the room, "That was really loud, wasn't it?" She said starting to giggle.

GILINSKY: Hey dude, on my way over now, see you soon.

ME: Okay cool, do you mind taking Charlotte to the orphanage today to see her friend?

GILINSKY:  Yeah, sure, do you want me to stay?

ME: Yeah, thanks dude.

Gilinsky showed up with the other guys, Char quickly ran out to his car, "See you soon, thank you," She said before she ran out the door and got into Gilinsky's car and drove away.

CHARLOTTE POV.

I was on my way back to the orphanage with Gilinsky, he offered to take me. I was going to see one of my close friends before she got adopted by someone in the area where I was living. "Thank you for doing this G," I said once we pulled up in the car park out side of the orphanage, "Can I come with you?" He asked. "Yeah of course, her name is Kate by the way," I told him before we got out of the car and walked inside the main door. It was so weird going threw the main entrance after being inside the orphanage for as long as I can remember. We had to sign all this paperwork to see Kate, but it really didn't matter. We went up to her room and I jumped on h bed. "Hey!" I said as I jumped on top of her. "Charlotte! What are you doing here?!" She asked almost in tears. "I wanted to visit you!" I replied before I hugged her.

"Who is that?" Kate asked looking at Jack, "Oh, that is Jack Gilinsky, he is really close friends with the guy that adopted me," I told her, she couldn't stop starring at him. I turned around to see Jack starring at Kate, it got pretty awkward. "Um, guys. I'm still here," I said trying to break the connection. It didn't really work. I decided to leave them a lone to 'talk', so I went and saw Sophia. I went into my old bedroom to find her just sitting there starring out the window, "Hey!" I yelled as I hugged her. "Your back!" She yelled. "Just as a visit, I promised!" I told her. We sat down and talked for almost and hour until our time limit was up, I gave her a hug and said good bye until I saw her next time. I walked into Kate's room to see her and G talking while Jack sat on her bed pretty close to her, I have to admit, it was really cute.

"We have to go, " I said standing at the door, "Bye Kate! See you next week, can you look after Sophia for me?" I asked her as I hugged her. "Anything for you!" She replied. She gave Jack a tight hug, I could see the connection. "So, you like one of my best friends?" I said walking down the stairs with a smile. "Don't say anything," He said starting to smile. "I won't, I promise," I said before we walked out the door.
