HAYES POV.

Well I technically broke the promise that I said to Charlotte. Not on purpose, I just felt like I didn't have much of a choice. We were living in different states! So I just cut her out of my life, I was trying to get my life together, without any distractions. And besides, Joel is back in her life now, so she doesn't need me.

I tried to talk to Nash nearly everyday, but when Charlotte came up in the topic, I just changed the subject or said I had to go. I didn't really want  to know how she was going, because I knew if I knew, I would care more than I should.

My mom suggested that I see a therapist. For what? Over a breakup that happened ages ago, or because my parents made me move half way across the country again?  Life was more confusing than ever, but my goal was to forget my past and try to focus on now. My life without Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE POV.

I needed to get back to school, to reality. But the truth is, my reality, isn't reality without Hayes, it's just a nightmare I can't wake up from.

I made a decision in the morning, I was changing my life. I needed to care more about life, I wanted to care more. I went to school like every other normal day, but happier. I went straight to History, on time for once, but I noticed something strange, Joel wasn't there.

I decided that I would catch the bus, actually, I didn't have a choice, no one could really pick me up. As I got off of the bus and started walking to my house, I started to listen to music. I sung along until I got to my house to find a figure sitting at the porch. "Hello?" I ask as the figure turn around.

Joel.

"Hi," He replied ever so simple. "What are you doing at my house?" I asked as I walked towards him. "I needed to talk to you," He said starting to walk closer to me. "Joel how do you know where I live?" I asked secretly. Joel was one of the reasons we moved houses. I knew that I wouldn't of told him where we live, I just knew it.

"You told me silly," He said staring to laugh. "No, I didn't," I refused walking pass him trying to get to the door. "Trust me, you did," He said seriously as he looked at me. "That's the thing, I don't trust you," I said as I opened the door and quickly shut it as I locked it. I was more than scared, I was terrified.

"CHARLOTTE WE NEED TO TALK! YOU ARE BEING UNRESONABLE!" He yelled through my door as I got my phone out and started to call the first person in my contacts. Cameron. I quickly called him trying to stay calm, but the tears streaming down my face and the banging on my door wasn't helping. He finally answered.

"Hey Char, how are you?" He said happily.

"You need to help me, Joel is at the door banging on it and trying to come inside and he is really scaring me," I say really fast with tears dripping down my face from fear.

"Wait wait wait, how does he know where you live?" He asked frantically as you could here him starting to walk around.

"I think he followed me, please just quickly get here," I say as the banging stopped.

I stayed still and didn't move an inch.

"Cam, I think his gone," I whisper into the phone.

"Stay right there and do not move, I am coming as fast as I can," He said as you could here him in the car.

Cam lived pretty close, but I still had fear in my heart. Joel was never like this. I stayed still trying to here for any movement until I here a car pull up. I stick my head out to see Cam running up to the door. I quickly open it and let him in greeting him with a big hug.

"Char, are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Came asked as he looked up and down seeing if I was hurt or not. "I'm fine, just really scared," I said as my voice started to shake. "Don't be, I'm here now," He said pulling me into another tight hug.

The thing I was creped out the most was how did he know I would be alone at home? Why did he want to talk?
