CHARLOTTES POV.

*1 month later*

Since I started school, the bullying started to get worst. Taylor and Luke both made my life miserable. Luke would hit on me everyday, calling me names and shoving me into lockers and pushing me to the ground. Taylor was just being a girl, she would call me names, make up rumours and pull my hair at times. Everyone knew about it even Nash and dad. Dad invited Nash and Hayes to live with us for good which I didn't mind, but after that the bullying started to get worst. I tried to avoid it but it didn't work.

"Charlotte! Wait up!" Hayes yelled as I was walking out of school. I stopped for him when Taylor threw an apple at me. I started to walk again. "Hey, are you okay?" Hayes asked me while he grabbed my arm and stopped me from walking. "Can we just go?" I asked with tears running down my face. "Yeah come on," He said as he held my hand and we walked away. I turned around to see Taylor and Luke standing there starring at me, at least it was Friday. "It hasn't got any better?" Hayes asked as he let go of my hand. "Only worst, everyone thinks that we are dating or I like you or something!" I said bursting into tears. Hayes stopped walking and hugged me tight but I pulled away because of my hurt rib. "What's wrong?" He asked concerned. "My rib, that's all," I replied. "Did they do that?" He asked as his face started to go bright red. I looked at the ground and Hayes ran back towards school. "Hayes! Hayes stop!" I yelled but he didn't respond.

I quickly ran home, "Uncle Nash! Dad!" I yelled as I ran through the door. "Charlotte, what's wrong? What the heck happened to you?!" Dad said as he ran towards me and Nash came up behind him. "Hayes and I were walking home from school and I started to cry so he hugged me and I pulled away so he wanted to know what was wrong and I told him that it was my rib because of Luke and Taylor than he ran off back to school furious!" I said in one breath. Dad wiped my tears away. "I'll go, you stay with Char," Nash said as he quickly grabbed his keys and ran out to his car and drove away. "It's okay Char, it's okay," Dad said as he tried to comfort me but all I could do was cry.

NASH POV.

I got to the school where Hayes went to see him walking towards the house, "Hayes!" I yelled as I pulled up beside him, he got into the car. "What the heck happened to you?!" I asked looking at his black eye and busted lip. "There was 3 of em, but don't worry, I got a good few punches," He said started to laugh but stopped due to pain. "Hayes, it isn't funny. Why were you so defensive?" "I don't know, they have been hurting Char for a month now! I don't want her to get any more hurt than she already is," He told me. "Hayes, you don't have feelings for her do you? I know she is beautiful and that," I told him. He just looked up at me with his eyes. "I don't know," He responded.

CHARLOTTES POV.

I was eagerly waiting at home with dad and Carter who came over just after Nash left to find Hayes. I was so scared. I was in the living room with the guys when I heard the door open, I quickly got up and ran to the door to see Hayes and Nash standing there. "Are you okay?" I said as I hugged in tightly even though I was in pain. "Did he do that to you?" I asked looking at his lip while I lightly touched it, I got butterfly's. "Ah, yeah, but its okay," He said as he pulled away. "I think you guys should be home schooled. Matt your a great teacher, I just think sending them back to that school is dangerous," Nash said while looking at both of us.

"Agreed." Dad said as he came up and hugged me. "I can help too, so can the other guys,." Carter said. "Thanks," Dad replied. Hayes then went upstairs and got cleaned up. "Are you really okay?" I asked walking into his room, "Really, I am fine," He replied with a smile. "Wow, he got ya good," I told him as I looked at his eye. "Yeah I know, but it was worth it," He said as he smiled.
