Chapter 15

CHARLOTTE POV.

I walked into the house with tears in my eyes. Why? I walked in and everyone was here. Dad, Hayes, Carter, Taylor, Jack and Jack, Shawn and Cameron. Everyone except Aaron. I walked into the kitchen where everyone was sobbing, dad pulled me into a hug. "What happened?" I asked as I cried into his chest. "He was driving and the road was wet from the rain and a truck came out of nowhere and hit him," Dad said while crying. Everyone was in a group hug, except Hayes that was no where to be seen. "Where is Hayes?" I asked as I wiped my tears. "He left just before Nash left to come and pick you up," Taylor said as he hugged me. I can't believe Aaron was gone.

"I am going to go and try to find Hayes," I said to dad. "Charlotte be safe," Dad said as he hugged me tightly. I ran out the door and I didn't know where to start. I ran to the park where we would sometimes hang out, but nothing. I ran back to our house to see if he was out the back in our little 'fort' that Hayes built for my birthday, but nothing. I went inside and I found his phone and I decided to call Luke. They were best friends since I came.

Luke-L Charlotte-C

L- Hello?

C- Luke please don't hang up! Is Hayes there? I need to find him.

L- Yeah, he told me what happened, do you know where I live?

C- No, can you tell me so I can come and get him please.

L- Yep it's literally 7 houses down your street.

C- Thank you, I will be there in a second.

I hung up the phone and ran down the street to where Luke is suppose to live. I knock on the door and he is already waiting there for me. "I am so sorry!" He said as he tried to hug me but I pulled away. "Where is Hayes?" I asked. "Inside, he wont talk. All he will do is cry, he has been here for an hour," Luke said as he showed me where Hayes was. He was sitting on Luke's bed with his head in his hands. I sat beside him and gave him a massive hug and he started to cry. "It's okay Hayes, he loves you," I said as I hugged him. I felt terrible. I bought Hayes home and he was crying and so was I. "You found him!" Nash said s we walked through the door. They all hugged and cried.

We all decided to sleep together in the living room on mattresses. There were tears all night. "Are you okay dad?" I asked as I heard him cry. "His gone, his gone," He kept repeating over and over and over. I didn't know what to do but pull him into a hug. "Charlotte, come here," Gilinsky said as he was in the kitchen. I got up from where I was laying and walked over to him. "Aaron wanted you to have this, he thought you were an incredible young lady," He said as he handed me the ring that Aaron always wore. "How did you get this?" I asked while I was crying. "I had to go and check it was him with your dad," He said with tears in his eyes. I started to cry even more.

Here I was at a funeral wearing a black dress and black leggings like I did 7 years ago.
