Moon Dad's / One Of Those Days

Steven opened your door at 8am to see you still asleep.

"Love?" He called out as you opened your eyes slowly and yawned.

"Sorry to wake you, sweetheart." He said sitting on your bed as you slowly sat up.
Steven did the usual and handed you a glass of water and two pills.

"Why do I have to take these?" You muttered as Steven smiled sadly.

"They're to help with Ptsd and anxiety, remember? The doctor said they would help." He said as you nodded and took them, making Steven smile.

"Its not fair I have to take them." You said as Steven leant forward and kissed your forehead.

"I know, darling. Unfortunately it's just something you have to do. You wanna come out and have some breakfast?" Steven suggested as you nodded.
He already knew you weren't feeling your best today.
You got out of bed and followed Steven out to the kitchen.

"Can I have some cereal?" You asked as Steven nodded.

"Of course, love." Steven replied as you sat down at the table.

"I don't feel well." You whispered as Steven came over with a bowl of your favourite cereal.

"Can you tell me in what way?" Steven asked as you looked down at your bowl.

"Anxious and afraid." You whispered, begining to eat.

"That's okay, sweetheart. We talked about that sometimes this happens, and the best thing to do is just ride out the feeling." He said as you nodded a little.

"Anything you want to do and we'll do it, angel. Even if that's just sleeping all day." He said making you smile a little.

"Thank you." You whispered making him smile in return.
You finished off your cereal and yawned, still feeling tired.

"Can we watch a movie?" You muttered as Steven smiled.

"Of course, darling. Go pick out a movie, I'll get some blankets and some of your stuffies, okay?" He said as you nodded and went over to the couch.
Steven came over with your favourite blankets and toys, before sitting down and letting you cuddle into him.

"I love you." You whispered as he smiled and wrapped an arm around you.

"I love you too, angel."
