Steven and Marc walking through the hospital trying to find a way out and Marc keeps muttering and saying how he knew he wasn't crazy. Obviously still feeling the effects of the trauma and sedation and Steven is worried about him so he quickly grabs his hand and stops him.
"Marc, calm down. It's going to be alright, we can do this together." Steven whispers as Marc looks at him and freezes.
"I need to protect you." Marc whispers as Steven looks at him softly.
"Let me protect you too." Steven replied squeezing Marc's hand and offering him a small smile.
"Looking into my reflection and knowing you weren't there killed me. You never shut up but...I love when you talk or ramble and knowing I couldn't hear it hurt me. I can't do this without you." Marc whispered in a vulnerable voice as Steven looked at him in surprise. He'd never seen Marc like this before, the closest he'd seen was when Marc was in the temple with Khonshu. Steven thought he was just an annoying voice in Marc's head.
"I need you too Marc." Steven replied slowly stepping forward and hugging Marc again.
"We can protect each other, I'm right here. I'm always right here."
