Jake / Introduction

"Just introduce yourself, Jake. She said she's ready to meet you." Steven muttered as he made breakfast.

"I don't know if I can, Steven. If I let myself out around her I just know how obsessed I'll be. I don't want to scare her away." Jake replied as Steven smiled a little.
He knew how much Jake loved you and how careful he had been.
They heard a noice and looked up to see you coming out of your room.

"Good morning, love." Steven greeted as you rubbed your eyes and smiled.

"Morning." You mumbled before coming over to Steven and hugging him.

"I was talking with Jake, would you be okay to meet him? I know it's scary meeting someone new." Steven asked as he went back to preparing breakfast.
He noticed your face lit up.

"I'd love to meet him! Does he want to meet me?" You asked as Steven smiled softly.

"He would love to, darling. I'll get breakfast and you can eat together, does that sound good?" Steven asked as you nodded happily.

"Yes, please."

Steven finished breakfast and set the table before he sat down and slowly gave up control.
You could help yourself but when you saw Jake had taken control you ran to him and jumped onto his lap to hug him tightly.
He chuckled and wrapped his arms around you tightly.

"Hello, mi amor." He whispered as he buried his face in your hair.

"Hi, Jake." You replied making him chuckle softly.
You climbed off him before going back to your seat.
From that moment Jake knew he could never let you go ever again.
You were too precious for this world and he needed to protect you.
