Steven usually got home before Marc and Jake, he would usually try to make something to eat for them.
Marc arrived home after Steven, they liked to have something to drink and talk about their days.
Jake was always last home, it was around 7pm and they heard the door open and slam.

"Jake?" Steven asked sitting up from where he was laying on Marc's lap on the couch.

"What's going on?" Marc asked as both him and Steven stood up and approached Jake.
He looked so upset.

"Hey, love. Talk to us." Steven whispered reaching out to hold onto Jake's gloved hand.
Steven pulled back and saw Jake's hand was covered in blood.

"Jake? What happened?" He muttered as Jake pushed past them.

"I had a mission from Khonshu, that's all." He grumbled heading to the shower.
Steven was about to chase after him before Marc stopped him.

"Just let him go have a shower and give him time to cool off." Marc said as Steven sighed and nodded.
Steven decided to start making Jake's favourite pasta dish, maybe it would make him feel better.
After about twenty minutes Steven felt someone wrap their hands around his waist.

"I'm sorry I was so cold before, mi amor." Jake whispered in Steven's ear making him smile.

"You were cold, love. I know you had a hard day. I'm making your favourite." Steven said feeling Jake softly press his lips to Steven's neck.

"I love you so much." Jake muttered as Steven turned around and kissed his lips softly.
He finally finished up dinner and all three of them ate together.
Afterwards they told Jake he could put on any movie he liked.

"Do you want to talk about what happened?" Marc asked as Jake laid against him and sighed.

"No, I just want to forget about today." Jake whispered as Marc nodded and wrapped as arm around him.
Steven came over with some chocolates and cuddled into Jake making him chuckle.

"Thank you."
