A Glee Twist

Chapter 1

Finn's POV:

I wake up to the bright rays of sunshine glowing in my eyes. Stretching my arms out, I turn to the right and see my gorgeous girlfriend. Quinn. I love her so much. Rachel and I didn't work out but we agreed to stay friends, she took the break up quite well, and, if I'm honest, I'm a happier man now. Especially since I'm with this goddess. Slowly, I turn to my left and look at the alarm clock. Crap. It's 7:15 and school starts at 8:00. I have to wake Quinn up; I don't want to. She looks so peaceful when she's sleeping.

"Quinn, babe. It's time for school and we slept in late." I say quietly, shaking her a little.

"Morning handsome. What time is it?" She says in her adorable morning voice.

I smile down at her, "7:15 baby. We slept in real late." I love it when she wakes up in the mornings, it's the cutest thing ever.

"7:15. We're gonna be late to school. Oh my goodness, I still need to take a shower and do my makeup and hair and then ACTUALLY get to school." She panics, I then know I need to calm her down before she has another panic attack.

"Calm down Hun. First of all, you have plenty of time for a shower. Secondly, you know and I know you don't need ANY makeup on 'cause you're naturally beautiful, and Thirdly, you don't need to do anything with your hair; it falls perfectly." I see her blush slightly and calm down a bit. That wasn't a word of a lie either because she really is naturally beautiful and her hair is like a golden waterfall.

Quinn looks down rather sad, "You may think that Finn but I know for a fact others don't... I don't." I was taken back when she said this, who would be stupid enough to think she wasn't gorgeous?

I take her face in my hands gently and kiss her lightly on the lips, " Who told you otherwise Q?"

She doesn't say anything but look down and pretends she doesn't hear me.

"I'm gonna hop in the shower, I'll be back in a few minutes." She says quietly, kissing my head on the way to the bathroom.

I shake whatever feeling I had off and stand in front of the mirror. What have I done to deserve Quinn? I'm not the fittest and I don't think I'm the most handsome. Whereas, Quinn has a super model figure, a voice of an angel and she is the prettiest girl I've EVER seen. It's decided. I'm going to go to the gym 3 times a week for 2 hours each on top of football. Quinn deserves the best and that's what I'm gonna try and be.

I throw on my dark washed jeans and black T-shirt, then my McKinley Jersey and black converse. Obviously, I style my hair into the usual shape and spray some cologne on my neck and behind my ears.

Quinn walks out of the bathroom in just a towel and boy does she make me crazy. I give her my famous half smile and look down. You see, I blush whenever I see her naked. Ok, here's the thing, Quinn and I are still virgins. I just wanted to wait for the perfect girl and here she is in front of me; I'm definitely not going to pressure her into doing anything she doesn't want to do so I'll wait until she is ready and I guarantee that day will be perfect.

Quinn walks over to the hair dryer and starts to blow dry her hair and once she's done, she straightens it and puts it in a messy ponytail with a brown leather head band. I see her sneak past me and, in the corner of my eye, I see her grab her makeup bag.

"Don't you dare even think about it Miss Fabray." I smirk and take the bag off her. She pouts like a little kid and does her puppy eyes. She knows I can't resist them but I have to today, as much as it kills me.

She then goes into the other room and changes. I don't get why she can't just get ready in here though.
When she comes back, I see she changed into a pair of blue skinny jeans, a blue short-sleeved flowy top and a long light grey cardigan on top. She then slips on her brown knee-length winter boots and grabs my hand.

"You ready baby girl?" I say to her softly.

She gives me one of her million dollar smiles, "Sure am babe."

We both hop into my truck and head off to school. I crank the radio up and our song starts to play. Lucky. I grab her hand and we start to sing.

Finn-
Do you hear me,
I'm talking to you

Quinn-
Boy I hear you in my dreams
I feel your whisper across the sea
I keep you with me in my heart
You make it easier when life gets hard

I'll put a flower in your hair

Quinn-
Though the breezes through trees
Move so pretty you're all I see
As the world keeps spinning round
You hold me right here right now

Both-
I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
I'm lucky we're in love in every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday

I really do consider myself Lucky to be with her. My best friend. Quinn.
