A Glee Twist

Chapter 15

Finn's POV:

The nurse came by a short while after and Quinn was nearly in tears. My poor baby girl is scared and I can't even help her.

"Okay Sweetie, we're gonna give you this injection and take a bit of blood for safety precautions, it'll only sting for a second or two," the nurse said smiling, another doctor entered the room and walked over to Quinn, rolling up the hospital gown sleeve and wiping it with an anti-septic wipe.

"You wanna hold my hand?" I offered to Quinn who just nodded and whimpered a bit in response. She buried her face into my neck and I could feel the tears soaking my shirt, she once told me that she had a bad incident with injections, the nurse was in training and moved while the needle was in her arm, tearing her skin and forming a scar.

"1...2...3..." The nurse counted down and stuck the needle in Quinn's arm which I cringed at.

She began to sob quietly and clutch onto my hand which didn't hurt because she's so fragile.

"It's okay baby, let it all out, I've got ya and I'm not going anywhere," I whispered in her ear.

She didn't make a sound though which worried me but she was just calming herself down. It takes a damn while to draw blood from someone though and that's what's hurting her.

The nurse took the needle out a few moments later and gave Quinn a band aid.

"You did good sweetie," you can be discharged from the hospital tomorrow." Them she leaves the room with the doctor, leaving us alone.

"You okay?" I ask Quinn while brushing back a few stray hairs that have seemed to go all over her face.
She nods as a response but her bottom lip quivers like an earthquake.

"I've known my baby long enough to know when she's not alright," I told her truthfully.

"What if they don't let you in with me when we get them at school?"  She blurted out and looked at her hands.

"I've got it covered, I'll talk to Principal Figgins and change my schedule so we have all the same lessons together which means I'll be with you all the time," she looks up at me and gives me a small smile.

"I love you," she says after a few seconds, so damn cute!

"I love you more than anything," I kiss her forehead and she shuts her eyes and leans into me more while I twirl a piece of her hair around my finger which always relaxes her and hum  'Don't stop believing' in her ear, sending her into a peaceful slumber.

The next morning consisted of Quinn sleeping and me packing up her stuff and waiting patiently for her to wake up. She finally did and flashes her gorgeous smile at me which made me chuckle, how did I get so lucky? I have the most beautiful girl in the world, the Glee club is my family, my Best friend (not Quinn, Puck) is gonna be a daddy, my other best friend is pregnant and my life seems perfect right now.

Quinn was sitting there staring intently at me, studying my face and waiting for me to speak...

"Good morning Princess," I said with a smirk and she just blushed a deep red and buried her face in her hands.

"Mornin' handsome," she said back after she went back to her normal colour. I laughed it off and now it was my turn to blush. This time I just chuckled and hoped she didn't notice which luckily she didn't.

"You ready to go home?" I asked her softly.

"Ready as I'll ever be..."

Aghhhhhh I hate myself for doing this to you, I am so sorry you haven't had a chapter in months but everything in my life is sorted for now and I'm off school for Winter break!!!! Hell yah ❄️😂 which means I'll be updating and writing more frequently. 🎄🎁👌🏽😘🍒💖🎶

This was a really crappy chapter but it will improve 🎀🎉
