Aqua's POV
I let out a sigh of relief as i saw his eyes and staff turn grey. Our nightmare was finally over. We comforted Sal and assured him he was going to be okay. Unfortunately he was going to loose his eye. His other eye remained bright blue and beautiful. He was in so much pain but you could tell he was so tough. He felt relieved as well.
We quickly embraced in a victory hug only to be interrupted by the vibrations coming from the other side of the room. I gasped in fear that Genieth or The Grey woman would return but they were dead. Instead the vibrations came from the staff. All color was drained from it. As it uncontrollably shook a black gust of smoke and red glow came from the garnet as well as a deafening shrieking sound. With a final surge the smoke dissipated into the air. Leaving the stone clear and the lord defeated.
We stared at the clear rock. That instantly began to glow. A pale rainbow gloss shimmered within. Our eyes started to glow bright. Power was restored, Evil was gone. The staff started to whisper to us. It no longer chanted Onyx mon melanite... but instead whispered us to "Restore the remaining grey." It was the only time the staff whispered to us but we all heard it clear as day. We all grabbed the staff together and the colors began to emit and shine bright. We knew we were the true keepers of the staff and were obligated to fulfill its wish, a happy wish to bring back peace and prosperity.
We were now the Lords of the Lost Gems...
