March 3rd, 1034
3:10 p.m
I looked out the door to make sure there was nobody there. We all gave each other a confused look. Diamond thought maybe it was just the wind blowing on the door but I'm pretty sure she said that just to make us feel better. Tanz went to sit down on the old couch and Diamond followed her leaving me alone at the door. Another cold gust of wind hit me. I shivered but not from the cold air, but instead the eerie vibe it gave off .
It was the beginning of the 3rd month which was Earths March. We followed the same timing, alphabet, and numbers as them so if we ever did meet up again we would be on the same page as them. Life seemed much simpler on earth and in moments like these i wished to be there instead.
I backed away from the door and shut it, turning the lock and the dead Bolt just incase.
I was nervous. Nobody had ever stopped by. Nobody knew we were here, our family's had been gone for a little over 2 years but so had everyone else. The only reason us three were still alive was because we were one of the 12. But we weren't going to be alive for much longer...
It all started in the years we were born. Tanzanite was born in 1,014 and Diamond was born in 1,015 and I was born in 1,016. Our planet mineral was oddly 1000 years younger than Earth so our year was currently 1,034 and Earth's was 2,034.When we were born we were unique from all the other people. Everyone else was born with grey eyes while we had color in ours. I was born with bright blue eyes so they named me Aquamarine and I was born in March. Diamond had sparkling eyes therefore they named her Diamond and she was born in April. Tanz was born in December and she was born with blue eyes but by the time she was five they turned a green hazel color and only turned blue when she had strong emotion. Our names and eyes also matched with our birthstones. Only 12 people were born like this and we were three of them. We didn't know why we were different but the Onyx people didn't like it. Onyx killed our family's and made us suffer, we didn't know why they were after us or even if they still were. But I know it isn't over yet, they were going to come back.
