My heart began to race , Sal sensed my panic and started calming me down.

"Don't worry we are leaving now, you'll be safe, we all will." Sal assured.

I nodded and shifted my eyes away from the tombs. We needed to leave, the Onyx killed these five and hid them and now we have just stumbled upon them. Who knows when they died or how long they have been there, maybe they were setting this all up to trap us.

We slowly walked down the path where we had entered the room like area. We followed the marks back to the area where we had fallen through. We were tired from the walk, everyone was tired and it honestly scared me. We were so weak, too weak to even walk an easy but long distance. It was hard for us to sleep with the constant fear of being attacked while we slept, or our heads hurting so bad from the lack of food and water. Thing weren't going in our favor and I wasn't sure if there was any hope left.

I looked around the big dark area. The opening where we had entered was above us a good 10 feet away and directly under it was the pool of water. I looked around for anything that we could stand on. Clay saw a decent size rock that would do the trick. He went over and slowly rolled the heavy Boulder into the water. Sal who was the tallest jumped onto the Rock and held out his arms. Diamond hopped on too and Sal lifted her up and helped her climb up and out of the cave. Tanz was next and Diamond helped pull her up from the top. Next I jumped up getting my boots wet. I placed a kiss on Sals lips and got a heartwarming smile in return. He placed his hands on my hips and lifted me up, he was shaking even though at this point I barely weighed nothing it was still hard for him to lift me. He was getting tired with each person he lifted up, it was draining every last ounce of energy he had. I took my arms and grabbed onto the soil and lifted myself up the best I could. I hadn't noticed but I was shaking too. The girls grabbed under each of my arms and helped me up and out.

"Take a break Sal, don't let this kill you okay?" Diamond stated.

He nodded waited a few minutes until he was breathing steady and said he was good. Rod was next and then Clay. Just as we helped pull Clay out and onto the dirt we heard a noise come from the cave. Sal still stood in the cave on the rock. I leaned over and heard the noise again. It was familiar, then it hit me it was the same noise the lady was making when she attacked me. The noise got louder. Sal flashed me a look of panic. I started screaming at Rod and Clay to hurry and get Sal out but it was too late. A blurry gray figure was standing in the water next to Sal. It was the Grey Woman. I started screaming at him, I grabbed him with my arms and tried pulling him up. She was too fast and before I knew it her bony hands were grabbing his body. We Pulled at his arms with all we could but we were too weak and she was so strong. Sal was screaming too and I had never seen him so scared. Everyone was screaming until it turned into a blur.

Even though it had only been a few seconds it had felt like an eternity. My muscles were about to give out but I wasn't going to stop, Sal meant so much to me and I wasn't ever going to give up. I truly did love him even though we had only met a few days ago. He had already added so much meaning and hope to my hopeless life and I couldn't imagine going on without him.

I looked down to see that her arms had torn apart Sals shirt. Streaks of bright red blood oozed from his waist and back. I started to cry. Sal then stopped struggling and looked into my eyes they were filled with pain. His were glossy with tears but the dark blue were still beautiful as always. He smiled and squeezed my hand and then let go.

"I love you Aqua." He whispered as the Grey Woman won the war and pulled him down into the water.

Those three words meant so much to me and the first time he had ever said them to me I didn't even get the chance to say them back. Everything had disappeared and the water started to glow. Then in an instant everything was still as if none of it happened. I started to scream while everyone was holding me back. Tears streamed down my face and my throat started to burn from screaming. Everyone was terrified. Sal was gone.

The last I saw of Sal were his bright blue eyes as he was pulled under and taken from us.

They had taken my family and now they had taken one of the few things that I loved and gave me hope, and now I must take from them.
