I let out a bloody muffled scream. The hand had tightened its fingers around my nose causing me to scream even more. I had started to cry, not just from the pain in my nose but because the fear of the random ghost hand that was wrapped around my face. Sal had stood there in shock for two seconds before helping me, the whole thing only lasted a few short seconds but felt like an eternity. Sal grabbed my shoulders and pulled me back with full force. The wet hand slipped and scratched my nose with its long yellow nails as my nose slipped from its grip. The hand fell back into the water. I took long deep breathes and was still hysterically crying.

Everyone had gathered around me weapons in hand and were silently questioning what had just happened. Sal stood besides me speechless. No one said a single word, that was until we heard a splash coming from the water. A tall weak figure had emerged. Ripples were surrounding what looked like a women. She had skin like Clays and Rods which had a grey hue, but hers was much darker as if she actually had grey skin. Just the sight of her sent chills down my spine. She gave off an eerie vibe, one which was almost to similar. A vibe I remembered feeling not to long ago.

Nobody had moved or said a word. I was now hidden behind Sals back. She had just attacked me and I wasn't going to let that happen again. She moved through the water like a blade. She had reached the edge of the water and stepped onto the grass only around 7 feet away from where we stood. Still not saying a word. She hadn't opened her eyes once. Her dark skin was scared with open flesh and cuts.

"Is she a mutant?" I whispered into Sals ear. He shrugged his shoulders."She must be dead or had been."

How could she had breathed underwater this whole time? I looked down at my marked up ankles she was the cause. She must have been touching me underwater. I shivered at the thought of her being in the pond with us the whole time just waiting for the perfect moment. She made me angry. She had ruined the only relaxing day we had, I had marked up ankles and a possible broken nose. I wanted her to pay.

She stood there in the grass motionless and eyes still closed. Someone had to do something and I wasn't going to wait. I filled with rage. I moved from behind Sal and ran up to her. I heard a voice and looked back.

"Aqua No!" Sal yelled, Too late.

Sals words made her open her eyes and wrap her hands around my neck. She had grey eyes which had now turned into a dark red. A symbol of evil to me.

I gasped for breath as her hands tightened around my throat I started to kick and punch hoping to Kinect with any part of her. Her hands so tight it was cutting the flow of oxygen to me, any longer and I was sure to pass out. Her deep red eyes seemed to be glowing as they stared down into my soul. I managed to choke out a help. Was everyone just shocked or too scared to move and help me? She began to mumble something under her breath fast and then faster, the three words that drove me here in the first place.

"Onyx mon melanite, onyx mon melanite, onyx mon melanite!" She growled.

Finally as my vision had just started to turn black the boys had beaten her and released me from her grip. I heard a splash into the water and a pair of arms wrapped around me before everything had turned black.

Red eyes stared into mine. Flashes of lightning lit up the sky behind the figure. A tall metal staff had my jacket pinned down to the floor. I tried to get away but the staff was too heavy I was trapped. I had realized who the bright eyed man was... Genieth. He looked like a typical bad guy, black cape, pale face decorated with scars, and a look that almost made him look tired and defeated. He stared me down never not once blinking. I had something he wanted or had done something to make him angry. He just kept staring. Standing behind him with a smirk was the Grey lady who had attacked me. She was playing puppet master to Genieth.

"You will not win this battle, will not take my life's achievements away from me!" He shouted. "You haven't seen the last of me!"

After his little rant I had been confused. What had I done to him? What had I taken? Where was I? I laid on the floor trapped motionless and silent. How had I gotten here? He gritted his teeth and with a sudden burst of anger lifted his staff off of my jacket and pressed the top part into my chest. The top of his staff was a giant garnet with a sharp point, it was bright and evil. He pressed the gem harder into my chest the burning feeling grew. I had started to scream. The point dug in and was soon going to pierce my skin which was now throbbing. The gem started to burst into light just as the pain was unbearable. Before I knew it the whole room had turned white from the blinding glow of the garnet and the pain had diminished as if my body had went numb.

I woke up to a wet cloth was placed on my head. I sat up confused and felt a piercing pain from my neck up. I groaned at the pain Sal must have heard me and immediately rushed to my side.

"Shhhh Aqua, don't talk everything's ok. She got your neck pretty good and we don't want you to strain your vocal cords." He assured me.

I was a little confused when he said she, but i nodded anyways and laid my head down on his lap, I had a headache and wanted to relax I couldn't remember anything. Sal ran his hands through my hair and kept shushing me as if I were a baby trying to fall asleep. It must have been working because before I knew it I had fallen fast asleep on his lap.

I always wonder when the books I am reading were wrote so I'm going to start putting the real date at the end of each chapter. Comment and vote. ~Ellsa k. 4/14/16
