Naida had just been zoned out for hours. She really did want to help Cap'n Cuttlefish fiddle with his commutator and maybe contact Agent 3, anyone really. But she just could not muster up the energy. The Cap'n hadn't seemed to mind, he just patted her shoulder and told her to take as much time as she needed. She was tired, exhausted, but she couldn't sleep, no matter how hard she tried, and trains usually put her to sleep. So she had just wound up curled up in a ball on the seat, just thinking. She couldn't get Dr. Gros out of her mind, by Cod, she wished she could.

-------

"Stop struggling, dear. You'll ruin that outfit, and I guarantee it costs more than what a village makes in a year." Dr. Gros said

"Y'know, if you had an issue with me, I think there were several different ways you could've handled it!" Naida shouted back, strapped down to a table

"But I did try, your majesty, but your very much like your Father and don't listen to common sense." The doctor replied

"By Cod, what are you on about, woman?" Naida asked

"You let inklings into our home, after they nearly destroyed it, and you wanted to sue for peace? Those scum don't even know what the word peace means. And Octavio had just gone soft, so, now I'll do what I should've done when he first brought you home, and use you like the pawn you were meant to be." Dr. Gros stood up from her desk, lifting a pair of hypnoshades off of it, freshly repaired from Naida's doctrine to destroy them

"Now, be a good girl and hold still." She said

"Your insane, Melissa. What do you think this will give you?" Naida asked

"The vengeance our people deserve."

And with that, Dr. Gros slipped the hypnoshades across Naida's face.

Cod, that wouldn't leave her alone. It just felt like a weight was in her head, and she couldn't lift it. Was she dying? Who knows, Cap'n wasn't a doctor, Naida had had enough of those for awhile. All of this had started because Octavio had the bright idea of kidnapping Callie, Naida knew it wasn't fair to blame her, but she also didn't have it in him to blame Octavio either. He was just doing what he thought was right. But it wasn't right, it was horrifying, and Naida only knew the minor details, not how Callie was taken or how long she'd been in Octopia Palace before she was introduced to Turquoise October. Naida made a small noise of dissatisfaction, trying to curl up tighter into her ball.

A knock was heard on Naida's door, while Anastasia, Naida's current chief attendant, was busy tying the back of her kimono.

"Mh? Who is it?" Naida asked, she had to get to the recording booth soon.

Marcus had gotten some insperation that was desperately needed ever since Marina left. Poor guy was also just depressed, and unfortunately Aiden couldn't love it away.

"It's Octavio, sweetie, and I've got someone for ya' to meet!" He said excitedly

"Do you mind?" Naida asked Ana, who quickly made her way towards the door and opened it

Anastasia made a puzzled expression before quickly bowing before her king. Naida had turned around by that point and was equally confused, and just a little nervous at the sight of Agent 1 in front of her with an experimental device called hypnoshades across her eyes.

"Naida!" Octavio thundered "this is Callie! And she's an inkling sympathetic to our cause, so I figured she could help out with Turquoise October, she's got a good singing voice, should pair up with you pretty well." He explained
