Cassie was walking to the bleachers when Stiles came up to her.

"Oh, hey Stiles what's up?"

"Okay, so I overheard my dad on the phone and apparently the fiber analysis came back from the lab in L.A and guess what animal hairs were on the body."

She paused. "Deer?"

"No, wolf hairs!"

"What does that mean," she asked, even though she felt like she already knew.

"Scott's a werewolf," he replied, lowering his voice.

Her heart rate sped up. "A werewolf? No offense but you're crazy."

"No, Cass seriously, he's a werewolf."

"Yeah, sure." She patted him on the back and went up the bleachers to find a spot.

He sighed in frustration which didn't last long when he saw Scott walk passed him.

The players on the field started spreading out and started playing. She watched her sister intensely with her hands interlocked with each other and her right leg bouncing up and down.

The ball was suddenly passed to Em and she ran off to the goal post and threw the ball in. She made it past the goalie and the ball hit the net of the goal post.

Cassie cheered for her and clapped as she made the goal.

"WILLIAMS, COME HERE," coach yelled.

Cassie squinted her eyes to see if she could try to read the lips of their conversation or at least see their facial expressions. Em walked away from coach, rejoining the field with a big grin on her face.

She turned to Cassie who was making hand gestures asking what it was about. Em replied with a finger stuck up into the air and moving her forearms in a horizontal line before rejoining the field.

It took a minute for Cassie to comprehend what it meant but when she realized she jumped up from her seat. "WOOH, THAT'S MY GIRL IN FIRST LINE RIGHT THERE!"

Everyone turned their heads to her but in that moment she didn't care. Okay, she cared a lot but she just acted like she didn't care.

The ball was passed in to Em and she ran to see who was open. She passed it to Scott who caught it effortlessly and started to run but was knocked over by Jackson.

After that, it restarted and Jackson and Scott were right next to each other. Scott quickly stole the ball after the whistle was blown and came rushing past everyone. He dodged everyone who came at him while Coach stood off the field, watching intensely. He flipped over a trio of boys and threw it in the goal post right past the goalie's legs.

Everyone started to crowd around him, except for Jackson, and cheered him on. They were then interrupted by coach yelling for Scott to come over to them. Everyone started giving Scott a standing ovation and congratulating him so she assumed that he made first line as well.

"Come on Cassie! I made first line, plus mom and dad said I could go!"

"No, I hate parties and you know that!"

"Please, I don't want to go alone and you and Allison are my only friends. You said it yourself that she's not going so that only leaves you."

She thought about it for a second. She hated any kind of social interaction that wasn't with Allison or Em, but she didn't want Em to go alone, so she eventually gave in and helped Em look for a party outfit.

They both decided on Cassie's black shirt she wore on the first day of school and a black pleated skirt that went to her mid-thigh along with her black and white converse. Cassie chose a wine red, tight, cropped, thin strapped shirt with a sweetheart neckline and black skinny, ripped jeans paired with black, leather combat boots and a black, leather jacket.

Their dad dropped them off at the party, telling them to text him when they want to go back and then drove off.

"I am so getting you back for this," she mumbled.

"Hey, it's either this or ice cream."

"I chose ice cream."

"Well it's too late now since we're already at the party." Em grabbed her hand and dragged her inside only to go back outside in the backyard. "Come on, let's go dance!"

"No, I am not dancing with a bunch of hormonal teens."

"Well too bad, come on!" She said before dragging her to where everyone was dancing.

Em danced to the beat of the music while Cassie just stood there unamused. Em rolled her eyes at Cassie and lightly shoved her shoulder.

"Cassie come on, dance! This is a party!"

She groaned dramatically in defeat and began to dance awkwardly to the music. A few minutes later she began to let herself go and dance more loosely.

"There you go sis!"

"I still hate you for this you know!"

"I don't care!"

Not long after, Allison and Scott joined them.

"Hey! I thought you said you didn't like parties!" Allison said.

"And I thought you had family night!"

"Touché."

The group continued dancing and having fun like regular teenagers. No magic and no wolfing out.

Allison and Scott started getting super close to each other which led to Em and Cassie leaving them on the dance floor.

"I still don't get why I can't have any alcohol," Em whined as they walked back into the house.

"Oh, maybe because we're both underage and dad will kill us if we drink."

"Well who cares-"

"Cass!" Stiles interrupted, grabbing her upper arm. "We need to talk."

Em smirked at her sister and then at Stiles.

"I can't, I'm babysitting my sister right now-"

"No you are not! I am going to the bathroom while you and buzz cut boy are gonna 'talk'," she interrupted, smirking and giggling evilly while walking away. She winked at her sister and sent her a thumbs up from the top of the stairs which Cassie responded to with an eye roll.

"Look, if you're gonna try to convince me that Scott's a werewolf then just forget it."

"Cass he is a werewolf!"

"Do you have any concrete evidence?" He pursued his lips and stayed silent. "Exactly so please Stiles, just leave me alone-"

She was cut off when Scott walked passed her, bumping his shoulder into hers.

Flashes of Scott was shown in her mind. At first, he was shot by an arrow to the wrist. Then, it was him and Allison together. The last vision was him howling at the full moon with red, glowing eyes.

Oh god, not again.

Without knowing, she was gripping onto Stiles' forearms as if he were the only things giving her support.

"Cass. Cass!" He shouted, breaking her away from her trance. "Are you okay?"

"Um... I uh..." she stammered. "I need to go find Em."

She walked up the stairs and ignored Stiles' calls for her.

Why me? Why do these werewolfy things always happen to me? All I wanted was to do was learn how to control my powers but nooo, I just had to get involved in werewolf drama yet again. You know what? No werewolf drama. This is a new town which means a new and clean slate. Do not get into any supernatural stuff, Cassie. Not again.
