"So, this kid's the real killer?""Yeah."
Noah paused, thinking about it for a second. "No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Dad, come on. Everybody knows that the police look for ways to connect victims in a murder, okay? So, all you have to do is, like, look through their transcripts and figure out which class they all had in common."
"Yeah, except for the fact that the rave promoter, Kara, wasn't in Harris's class."
"Alright, okay, you're right, sorry. Then I guess they dropped the charges against him?"
He shook his head. "No, you know what? They're not dropping the charges. But that doesn't prove anything. Scott, Cassie, do you guys believe this?"
"It's really hard to explain how we know this, but you just got to trust us. We know it's Matt," Scott replied.
"Yeah, he took Harris's car, okay? Look, he knew that if a cop found tire tracks at one of the murders, and if enough of the victims were in Harris's class, that they'd arrest him."
"Alright, fine. I'll allow the remote possibility but give me a motive. I mean, why would this kid want most of the 2006 swim team and it's coach dead."
"We haven't figured it out yet, sir, but earlier at the party, Scott said he almost drowned in the pool because he doesn't know how to swim. Maybe it has something to do with that," Cassie spoke.
"Yeah. And the fact that our swim team sucks! They haven't won in, like, six years." Cassie and Noah glared at him. "Okay, we don't have a motive yet. I mean, come on, does Harris?"
Noah nodded, thinking that Stiles was right. "What do you want me to do?"
Stiles looked back at Scott and Cassie.
"We need to look at the evidence," Scott replied.
"Yeah, that would be in the station. Where I no longer work."
"I have some evidence in my laptop that would seriously get him some jail time," Cassie spoke.
"Okay, you bring that, and dad, trust me. They'll let you in."
He stammered. "Trust you?"
"I-... trust... trust Cassie and Scott?"
"Them I trust."

The boys dropped her off at her house where she left her laptop before they went to the Stilinski's. They insisted on waiting, but she told them to just go to the station and that she'll meet them there. Luckily, she was home alone. Her parents were out, and Em was at a sleepover with a few friends.
She walked into her room and noticed that her laptop was gone. She looked everywhere, under the bed, the closet, under the pillows, in her desk drawers, but it was nowhere to be seen.
"Looking for this?"
She lifted her head and looked in the direction of the voice. It was Matt with the Kanima circling around him. He was holding up Cassie's laptop, which had a giant hole in the middle of it.
Damn it, that laptop was three-hundred dollars.
"What? Are you here to take some more photos?"
He chuckled lowly, chucking her laptop out the window. "Come with me." He walked past her to the door to her bedroom.
"Sorry to spoil your fun but, I'm not telling you a word where Scott and Stiles are."
