They all stood in a parking lot with all the items in hand. Cassie set down the map along with one candle at each corner. She took off her Elena Gilbert necklace and replaced it with the locket. She gently tapped her finger on each candle, lighting a flame with each tap. She sat down on one side of the map on her knees."According to the grimoire, I need a relative's blood to do it successfully."
Peter sighed dramatically as he sat down on the other side. He pulled up his sleeves and held out his left hand. She grabbed it with one hand while grabbing her dagger with the other. She cut a long and deep cut on his palm as he grunted at the pain. He put his hand in a fist, allowing more blood to be spilt on the map.
"Locus iste homo," she chanted quietly, over and over again.
His blood on the map started to spread from the parking lot they were into the place Derek was being held slowly. Stiles watched Cassie worriedly when her nose started to bleed while Peter was watching where the blood was going. His eyebrows started to furrow when he realized where the blood was spreading to. The blood circled around the coordinates Derek was located at.
She opened her eyes as she gasped for air, falling backwards. Stiles rushed to her and caught her just before she fell on the cement floor beneath her. He cradled her in his lap as she panted.
"There, I helped you find Derek. Now leave us alone."
Stiles wrapped her arm around his shoulders and helped her off the floor as he stood up.
"Give me your keys," Peter ordered.
Stiles sighed as he reached into his pocket and threw Peter the keys. "Careful, she grinds in a second."
Peter fisted his hand still holding the keys. He opened his hand back up and the keys were bent. He handed Stiles back his keys.
"So, you're not gonna kill us?" Cassie looked at Stiles, too tired to death stare him for even saying that. Peter stopped what he was doing and walked towards Stiles and Cassie menacingly. "Oh god," he muttered, already regretting what he said.
"Don't you understand yet? I'm not the bad guy here."
"You turn into a giant monster with red eyes and fangs, and you're not the bad guy here?"
"I like you, Stiles. Since you've both helped me, I'm going to give you something in return."
Excuse me, both? I'm the one who did most of the work here!
"Since Cassandra's already supernatural, I'm going to ask you this instead. Do you want the bite?"
Stiles paused. "What?"
"Do you want the bite?" He repeated, enunciating each word. "If it doesn't kill you, and it could, you'll become like us."
"Like you."
"Yes, a werewolf. Would you like me to draw you a picture?" He sarcastically replied. "That night, I took Scott because I needed a new pack. It could've easily been you. You'd be every bit as powerful as him. No more standing by his side, watching him become stronger, and quicker, more popular, watching him get the girl. You'd be equals. Or maybe more." He grabbed Stiles' arm and leaned his head towards it. "Yes, or no?"
"Stiles don't, he's trying to manipulate you," Cassie breathed out.
When he didn't say anything, Peter took that as a yes started to move towards his wrist with his fangs coming out. Just as he did, Stiles snatched his arm away.
"I don't want to be like you."
"Do you know what I heard just then? Your heart beating slighter faster over the words "I don't want". You may believe that you're telling me the truth, but you are lying to yourself. Goodbye, Stiles, Cassandra."
