Cassie walked down the stairs with Allison by her side. Allison was talking about how Scott was such a great boyfriend until Cassie spotted him. She nudged Allison's arm lightly and nodded in Scott's direction."Hey," Allison greeted.
"Hey," Scott replied.
"I should go leave you two love birds alone. I don't really feel like being a third wheel today," Cassie said before leaving.
As Cassie walked by Scott, he caught a whiff of her scent. His eyes followed her as he furrowed his brows in her direction. It was the same scent he had caught the day he almost killed Stiles in the locker room.
"Busy?" Allison's voice interrupted.
"No, no. It's just my mom. She's nothing."
Their voices became more and more faint as she walked farther away from the couple. She looked back at him. She had noticed his look at her from the corner of her eye.
He suspects something. I know it.
She turned back around and walked away.

"Move the rock," Derek instructed.
"Are you sure? Because the last time that happened-"
"DEREK!"
The duo turned their heads to the front door. She rolled her eyes, already knowing who it was by the voice, and nodded her head towards the door, signaling Derek to go check what he wants.
"STAY AWAY FROM HER!" Scott yelled. "SHE DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING!"
"Oh yeah? What if she does?" Derek replied calmly. "You think your little buddy Stiles can just Google "werewolves" and now you've got all the answers, is that it? You don't get it yet, Scott, but I'm looking out for you. Think about what could happen. You're out on the field, the aggression takes over and you shift in front of everyone," he said before bending over and grabbing Scott's lacrosse stick.
"Your mom, all your friends, and when they see you," he paused, before ripping the net of Scott's lacrosse stick. "Everything, falls apart."
He threw the lacrosse stick into Scott's hands and took that opportunity of distraction to disappear back into the house.
Wow, dramatic much, Cassie mouthed to Derek when he entered the room she was in.
Shut up, he mouthed back before smiling sarcastically.

Cassie walked to the reception desk, holding a bag of Chinese food.
"Oh hello Miss Williams," the receptionist nurse greeted. "Are you here to bring dinner for your father again?"
"Yep, speaking of which, where is he?"
"He's currently with a patient, but you can wait in the waiting room for now."
"Okay, thank you Mrs. Amberson." The nurse nodded at her kindly as a "you're welcome" and continued her work.
She sat in one of the waiting room chairs and put the bag of Chinese food on her lap. She waited patiently while bouncing her leg anxiously up and down.
Stiles had just walked into the room which caught her attention. He leaned on the receptionist desk before muttering some words she couldn't hear and taking deep breaths. He walked towards Lydia awkwardly before greeting her.
"Hey, Lydia. You probably don't remember me. Um I sit behind you in Biology." She raised her eyebrow in amusement and watched the live show of drama right in front of her to entertain her.
