"Faster?" Cassie asked as she kept her eyes on the road.

Stiles looked behind him through the windshield. "Much faster," Stiles replied from the back.

She pressed her foot all the way down on the gas pedal, gripping the steering wheel tightly. Scott leaned back into his seat, terrified.

"No, no, don't go faster!"

"Scott, I don't think you're grasping the concept of the car chase here," Cassie commented.

"If you go faster, you'll kill us!"

"Well, if she doesn't go faster, they're gonna kill us!"

Cassie pressed her foot even harder on the gas pedal, if that was possible, and made a sharp right turn.

Stiles checked behind him again. "They're gone." He got out a walkie-talki and pressed a button on it, causing it to make a loud beeping sound.

"All units, suspect is on foot heading into the iron works."

"Hold on," she exhaled.

With one last sharp turn, she drove into the iron works just as Derek was getting shoot at by Mr. Argent himself. She slammed on the brake, yelling at Derek to get in while Scott moved to the back. As soon as he jumped into the passenger seat, not even letting him get situated, she pressed her foot to the gas pedal again and drove off.

"What part of laying low, don't you understand?" Scott scolded.

"Damn it, I had him!"

"Who, the alpha?"

"Yes! He was right in front of me, and then the freaking police showed up!"

"Whoa, hey, they're just doing their jobs," Stiles defended.

"Yeah, besides you can blame Scott for making you the most wanted fugitive in the entire state!" Cassie blamed.

"Can we seriously get past that? I made a dumbass mistake, I get it."

"No, Scott, you are a dumbass mistake."

"All right!" Stiles interrupted. "How did you find him?" Derek looked at Stiles and stayed silent.

"Can you try to trust us for at least half a second?" Cassie said, still focusing on the road in front of her.

"You, I trust, them, I don't trust," Derek replied.

"She meant to trust all of us," Stiles said. Derek shot him a deadly glare. "Or just her, I'll be back here."

"Look, the last time I talked to my sister, she was close to figuring something out. She found two things. The first was a guy named Harris."

"Our chemistry teacher?"

"Why him?" Scott asked.

"I don't know yet."

"What's the second?"

He unfolded the piece of paper in his hands. "Some kind of symbol."

She tore her eyes from the road for a quick second to glance at the drawing. "I know this symbol. I've seen it on a necklace."

"What necklace?"

"Allison's necklace."

"This is gonna be impossible, you know," Scott said before entering the school.

"Yep, that necklace is like her prized possession," Cassie agreed.

"Why don't you just ask her if you can borrow it?"
