"I think I am about to pass out."
Thea squeaked as she tried to tighten her hold on the ledge of the tower. James laughed at her and squeezed her hand assuring her, the pair was sitting on the ledge of the astronomy tower it was evening time as the two shared the view.
"Why did I agree on this," Thea whispered James smirked as he tickled her sides a little which only resulted in him getting cursed and hit at.
"Because you love me?! my ass" Thea mumbled as she punched James' shoulder
"I will kill you if I have to with free torture," Thea said as her hands intertwined with the boy trying to sit steady.
James only laughed shaking his head. The two talked about the recent happenings in their life. Thea loved heights but she had a fear of edges. When James found out about it, he made it his personal mission to help the girl overcome it.
It started when the two were eight years old, James made Thea sit on the lowest branch of the tree, and later through the years, they went higher and higher reaching the fifth beach.
And today she sat with him legs dangling off the tower her heart racing as her fear tried to engulf her. But James's presence and his hold on her hand made her feel at ease.
"Remember the time I tricked you into thinking I was going to push you off the branch?" James asked his eyes twinkling.
"Yeah and then when I didn't fall off, I tried pushing you and I fell onto the ground." The two giggled remembering the day very well. Thea ended up locking herself in the room for days and not talking to him at all.
"How are things with Cameron?" James asked a slight frown on his face which went unnoticed by Thea, his voice was filled with venom. "What do you mean?" Thea asked confused, she and Cameron were best friends, platonic soulmates.
"Oh erm, nothing. Just wanted to ask how he is doing since you two are the closest." James covered up cursing himself for asking such a thing his mind going back to thinking about his Lily flower.
Thea laughed her eyes on the sky not daring to look down.
"Oh well, he is well just going through his home life. His sister found out that he stole her Vinley records and now she is contacting Dumbledroor to let her in Hogwarts so that she can give peace of mind to Cameron."
She giggled remembering the older girl she had grown to love over the past summers.
James snickered a pang in his heart and not knowing what caused it he went back to thinking about Lily.
"You are a girl, Thea," James stated Thea rolled her eyes clapping sarcastically.
"Wow, great observation Prongsie. I didnt know I thought I was gendered as a motorcycle!" James snorted at her words.
