The only thing that Thea dreaded the most was herbology classes, she couldn't do anything right in the class.

Professor Sprout seemed to hate her as she had previously killed seven of her favorite plants last year.

Thea was squished between James who was staring at his Lily flower and Sirius who was busy staring at Remus. The Gryffindor girl looked absolutely lost with what was being taught.

She tried to keep up with the notes but gave up and stared at the boy who was busy at staring another flower.

"Miss Travers, Mr. Potter, and Mr. Black if you can't pay attention to my class please leave." Professor Sprout snapped glaring at the three.

Thea broke her gaze away from the curly-haired boy and looked at the Professor apologetically.

Cameron and Peter who were sitting in front of them passed knowing smirks to the three.

"Oi Melody did you take any notes," James whispered nudging the short girl with his elbows.

"Err I tried to but I don't understand a word," Thea whispered passing her notes to the glasses boy who laughed at her.

He gazed at the notes snickering at them "You actually doodled my glasses Melody? Oh, and is that my face!" he teased her.

Thea snatched her notes back grumbling curses under her breath and whacking James with her notes.

The boy laughed placing his arm around her shoulder Thea blushed a zoo erupting from her stomach.

After the classes were dismissed the Marauders found themselves sitting under the tree near the black lake.

While Thea sat making flower crowns for everyone the boys were planning their next prank. Remus as usual was being the responsible prefect was doing his homework.

"I really can't figure it out ugh fuck this shit," Remus grumbled throwing his quill in frustration what he didn't see was that it wasn't the quill in the hand which he threw but the homework that he was doing.

The Prefect saw his homework being drowned in the lake, Thea who witnessed everything laughed out loud patting the boy's head in comfort.

"It's alright you can copy mine later." She assured him placing the flower crown on his head.

"Aww would you look at that Mr. Lupin the king of furries," Sirius said his eyes admiring the beautiful boy in front of him.

Remus blushed as he settled the crown on his head. "You look beautiful Remmy!" Thea exclaimed kissing the boy's cheek.

"Here a crown for my beloved!" She said and placed the flower crown on the curly-haired boy. James grinned at her and watched her as she fit the crown on his head.

"There now you look more beautiful." Thea mused patting his head.

James chuckled holding the hands of the girl in front of him. "Not as gorgeous as you tough Melody." James winked at his best friend placing a flower crown on her head and kissing her cheek.

"There now you are the most gorgeous one here!" he whispered his eyes not leaving hers.

Thea blushed watching her favorite boy look at her like the most beautiful human made her heart beat faster.

"I would disagree no one is better looking than me!" Sirius boasted and swung his arm around a blushing Remus.

"No don't go away from me. You are so warm." James nuzzled his face in the crook of her neck and pulled the shorter girl into his lap.

Thea's face was burning red as she chuckled and patted the head of the boy sitting comfortably in his lap.

"How dare you steal my friend Potter." Cameron gasped a hand on his mouth as the flower crown fell from his head.

Peter snorted and wore his flower crown looking at his friends amused. A flash went off not noticed by anyone.

"Here!" A deep voice huffed passing the photo to Peter. The marauder's faces lit up with Joy as they saw Rebus Hagrid standing with a Camera in hand and a smile on his face.

"Hagrid! How are you? Haven't since you since summer." Peter greeted the man who looked pleased.

"Good to see you, Peter. I will see you lot soon and for the love of Merlin don't go in the dark forest." He jeered the marauders laughed watching the man chasing a niffler.

"No promises Hagrid!" James yelled and waved the man goodbye.

His arms found their way to her waist as he propped his chin on her shoulder. James crinkled his nose as he inhaled the familiar scent of her Vanilla, books, and brownies.

"How do you smell like brownies?" James muttered his eyes snapping shut as she played with his hair.

Thea laughed a shiver going down her spine when James sniffed her hair. "Are you seriously sniffing my hair Jamie boy?" She teased chuckling when his grip tightened around her.

"Shush you are so warm let me sleep." The boy said leaning against the tree with Thea in his lap the boy slowly drifted off to his dreamland.

"He really shushed me," Thea mumbled under her breath playing with his hair.

Thankfully nobody noticed their exchange even Cameron who usually kept an eye out for her was engrossed in a game of gobstones with Peter.

"If only it wasn't Lily all the time." The brunette whispered closing her eyes and snuggling closer to the boy drifting off to dreamland where her hopes came true.
