Dorothea Travers wasn't one to accept failure so quickly. The girl sat on the window sill of her bedroom looking at the view outside with a sad smile. The autumn weather made her feel cozy and at ease.
The reason behind her sadness was simple, James Potter asked Lily Evans again and got rejected...yet again. It shattered the girl's heart to see her best friend being humiliated but his harsh words after her trying to help him made her even sadder.
James and Thea never fought in such manner in their fifteen years of friendship, even if they did fought they were friends again the very next second.
But this time James Potter had crossed a line and Thea was stubborn not wanting to breathe the same air as the boy.
"Thea?" the voice of Alice Fortescue snapped the girl's attention to her dorm mate who was looking at her worried. "Hello Alice." she smiled but the smile never reached her eyes.
Alice rolled her eyes knowing that the girl wasn't doing well. She had watched the scene unfold between James and Thea and Alice knew that she was far from being okay. "Here bought you some of your favorite brownies since you didn't touch your breakfast."
Thea smiled gratefully at the girl biting into her brownies hungrily humming at the taste. "You are a wonderful girl Thea. Don't let Potter's words get inside your head," Alice squeezed her hand in reassurance.
Thea wasn't closest to her roommates since the girl was rarely there but they were good friends. "Thank you, Alice. For everything." The two Gryffindors shared a brief hug. Alice was the mother of the group always making sure that the girls were okay.
Alice had caught Thea multiple times crying herself to bed and after each night Alice would bring Thea brownies and muffins every morning to brighten her mood. She would make sure that she ate and wasn't into any trouble.
Alice Fortescue was her sister and no one can change that. And Thea made sure that the girl knew how much she meant to her.
"I love you Ally cat." she sniffled wiping her tears away and giving the girl a tight hug. "I would have probably dropped dead if it wasn't for you," Thea mumbled and she meant every word she said.
Alice laughed remembering the time when Thea had her first period and had no idea what it was.
Last year Thea got her period while she was sitting in the courtyard with James and Sirius the three deciding to prank McGonagall.
When Sirius spotted the blood patch on the girl's skirt he began screaming like someone was dying. Thea who had no idea what period was terrified out of her mind. The three of them were screaming like little girls.
Sirius had convinced the girl that she was going to die and James was crying not ready to lose her yet.
While Thea terrified yet horrified by the information that she was going to die comforted James telling him that she wouldn't die without him.
Alice who was walking to her next class saw the three dramatic best friends and asked what was wrong. She bursted out laughing when Sirius said that Thea was going to die because she was bleeding.
The girl then made Thea learn what periods were along with Sirius and James. The whole time the three were red in the face.
Never had Alice Fortescue seen such a stupid and overly dramatic pair of people.

"If looks could kill, Potter would have been tortured to insanity and then die. Stop glaring at the poor boy Thea." Cameron exclaimed watching in amusement as his best friend was ready to kill his other best friend.
While Cameron had punched James after Thea had left in the morning, Cameron was sure that his best friend could handle herself well enough. Thea had failed to notice the small bruise on James' nose.
The girl stabbed her quill into the wooden bench making the quill break. Cameron looked at her with surprise amusement dancing in his eyes.
"That's not his head it's the table have mercy and make a difference between what is Potter's head and furniture Thea!" Cameron whispered snorting when Thea flipped him off. The boy stuck his tongue out in response.
As soon as the class got over Thea sprinted out of the room moving to her next class which was, unfortunately, History of Magic and she was not ready to face Binns yet.
After a tiring day of study, Thea walked into the great hall eyes bearly open as she walked into the hall sitting with Alice and the girls. The girls shared a concerned look and winced when Thea began to bang her head against the table.
"Merlin what do you have against wooden tables!" Cameron mumbled when he saw his best friend. Lily shot a look towards the boy shutting him up immediately. "If I die tomorrow I want you all to write Queen's Don't Stop Me Now and Killer Queen lyrics. on my gravestone"
"That makes two of us Thea,bQueen supremacy!" Sirius boosted shooting the sulking girl a huge grin.
Thea shot the boy a tired smile laughing when she remembered how he had slapped James after their argument. She was happy that she had such supportive loving friends she really didn't want to trade them for someone else.
Thea had noticed the absence of James, the bespectacled boy nowhere to be seen. She brushed her thoughts aside and enjoyed her meal joking with the girls and the Marauders.

Thea's eyes widened as she started to laugh clutching her stomach bending over in laughter and almost falling flat on her face when she saw James Potter in the common room looking hideous.
Lily, Maralene, and Alice pranked James after knowing what had happened with a little help from Remus and Peter the girls had managed to do the absolute worst.
Currently, all the marauders minus James and half of the Gryffindors were roaring with laughter.
James was covered in glitter from head to toe green glitter to be specific his hair turned pink and his bread grew so long to rival that of Dumbledore.
The boy was dressed in a mini skirt almost exposing his downstairs and the upper half of the body was decorated with fake red gemstones. Unlucky for James he was stuck to his chair.
When McGonagall heard the commotion she couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Mr. Black, Mr. Lupin, and Mr. Cameron please bring Mr. Potter to the hospital wing immediately." the older witch ordered a laugh threatening to escape her lips.
After the boy was gone Thea wiped her tears away her stomach paining from all the laughter. She saw the smirks the three girls exchanged. She laughed even more engulfing the three in a hug.
"Oh my god, you all are the best!" the shorter girl exclaimed her arms around Alice and Marlalne.
"Well, bitches for life right?" Marlene exclaimed winking at the girl.
