Thea couldn't keep the track of time. She didn't knew how much time she had spent crying in the bathroom and talking with myrtle.
Her heart seem to ache more and more as the time passed.Thea was currently sitting on the toilet her face in her hands as he listen to myrtle talk. Her face was a bit dirty from the bile she threw up and her shirt dirty.
Thea didn't felt disgusted by it, the smell didn't bother her at all. She sat sadly crying and hiccuping listening to myrtle and talking with her.
"It's getting late don't you want to go?" Myrtle asked the girl who sat sadly staring off in the space. "And then what? See their happy faces? Absolutely not myrtle." Thea muttered examining her nails.
"But Thea it's getting late, you will miss your dinner." At her words Theas head shot up as she look at the ghost surprised. "What?" She hissed in surprise.
"It's dinner time Thea, you have been here for hours." With her eyes widen Thea got out of her stall to get herself cleaned up. She grimaced when she saw her reflection.
Her brown eyes were red and bloodshot, her hair messed up, clothes wrinkled and bile on her. She cleaned herself and tied her hair in a ponytail. She almost gaged when she understood how horrible she smells.
Thea cursed herself for not bringing her bag with her. She prayed that one of her friends had taken her bag with them. "Here you can use this, yesterday a blond girl forgot it. She was very nice." Myrtle said and offered the girl perfume.
Thea smiled at her gratefully. "Thank you so much Myrtle, I will visit you again. Thank you for your kindness." Thea then sighed preparing herself to face everyone.
She walked out of the bathroom slowly making her way into the great hall. With nervousness she walked slowly into the great hall with the few other students.
The bile in her stomach started to grow as she saw Lily sitting beside James laughing with the marauders. Her eyes swell up with tears as she realised that her opportunity really had gotten out of her hand.
She walked slowly sitting beside Cameron across Peter and Remus. When the boys and Lily notice her presence they immediately start to question her whereabouts.
Thea laughed as she replied with "Oh I wasn't feeling well, girl problems." And they took their que to stop question her further. Thea could feel the eyes of Cameron drilling a hole in the side of her head.
She knew that he knew.
"Oh Melody! I almost forgot to tell you!" James exclaimed as he proudly looked towards the redhead beside him. "Lily finally agreed to go on a date with me!" He proudly said.
Sirius and Peter cheered for him while Remus kept staring at her, she felt Cameron's hand squeezing her hand tight.
Felling all the gazes on her she faked a smile chuckling. "Wow! That's great James, Lily. I am happy for you guys." She said the strings in her heart seem to pull making the ache in her chest grow.
James frowned a little at her words. Thea would never call him James unless she was angry. But he dodge the concerns away when Lily took his hand in her's.
"I mean I really couldn't say no to him after almost five years of him asking me." Lily chuckled as she look at James which made Thea sick.
The thought of two being together all lovey dovey made the bile rise in her stomach again. Her eyes widen as she saw Lily kissing James cheek.Feeling the nauseous again Thea abruptly got up from her seat.
The marauders look at her confused "Excuse me." And with that she ran out of the great hall trying to find the washroom to empty her already empty stomach.
James and Sirius looked at each other confused while Cameron and Remus shared a concerned glance. Peter sat there connecting the dots, he got up from his seat. "I need to write a letter to my mum." And he quickly got out of great hall trying to find Thea.
McGonagall and Dumbledore watched the whole exchange. McGongall handed him 100 gallons a disappointed look on her face. "I told you James and Lily would end up together."
Thea couldn't even reach the washroom before she emptied her stomach in the hallway. She winced looking at the mess she made. Wiping her face with the back of her hand she sat in the bench next not knowing what to do.
Peter's eyes widen as he saw the girl he thought of as a sister. Seeing the vomit he quickly used a spell to make the floor clean.
Thea looked up and saw Peter she gave him a tired smile. "How did you lear to do that?" She asked him putting her head on his shoulders.
"My mom, she gets sick a lot and my dad use this spell he thought me too." Peter said sitting beside her. Thea hugged him tight burying her head in his shoulder.
Peter was not fazed by the smell of bile almost used to it. He look at the girl for few minutes contemplating if to say it out loud or not. "What are you thinking Pete?" Thea questioned smiling when he started to play with her hair.
"You like James no let me correct that." Peter paused taking a deep breath. "You love James don't you?" He questioned staring into her eyes when Thea pulled away from his shoulder.
Thea laughed it off telling him he was nuts to think so. Peter gave her a bored look "It doesn't take a genius to connect the dots Thea. I know you love him, I see it every time you are around him." Peter said.
Thea sighed burying her face in her hands as she mumbled slowly. "I do love him Pete. So much that it hurts so so bad." A tear slipped away from her eyes.
Peter smiled softly at her wiping tears away from her face. "He is a daft bimbo to not notice you Thea. You are such a beautiful soul, I am sure he would come into his sense one day."
Thea smiled at his words hugging the dirty blond hair boy tight. "Thank you so much Pete. Promise you would never leave me behind?"
Peter smiled at her, "I promise I would never leave you behind Thea." And so the two spend their time talking about love and nonsense shit which would come into their mind.
Thea was grateful to have Peter by her side.
