James Potter was too shocked to even form words as his jaw was open watching the girls dirty dancing. The other students who had gathered in the common room due to commotion were hyping the girls up.
Sirius and Cameron joined them twirling the girls around and hollering with their surprisingly dirty moves. Remus and Peter watched them with matching grins and laughter cheering their friends.
"Come on James dance with us!" Thea yelled for him pointing a finger at him and signaling him to come over. Frank was beyond flustered when Alice came and started to give a lap dance as Marlene hyped her up.
Before James could even respond the Gryffindor common room opened up revealing an angry McGonagall entered watching the scene with an open mouth not believing her eyes.
"Everyone to their room except Miss Evans, Miss Travers, Miss Fortescue, and Miss McKinnon." No one moved an inch still hyping the girls up. McGonagall sighed rubbing her forehead "EVRYONE TO THEIR ROOMS NOW!" she yelled.
In one instance, the command room was empty except for the four girls who tried to keep their giggles within themselves. "Detention for a week all four of you and 10 points from Gryffiondor each. I am very disappointed." the four girls looked down ashamed.
"Now go to your dorm now." McGonagall watched as they went to their dorm a sigh escaping her lips but a smile on her lips nonetheless.

"I cannot believe what you did!" came the voice of Cameron as he laughed with the rest of the Gryffindor table. "Way to go Alice woho!" Sirius hollered as the blushing girl sat next to a grinning Frank.
"Ah, the dirty dancer of the night! Give it up for EVANS!" Cameron yelled whopping for the redhead who hid her blushing face in James' chest once she sat beside him. The rest of the great hall was watching the commotion with raised eyes. The word flies really fast in Hogwarts.
"And the best dancers of course woohoo!" Sirius yelled as he whooped and clapped as Merlane and Thea entered the great hall waring shy smiles and red faces as the two sat on their usual spots.
"Who knew you could dirty dance Travers wanna come to my dorm sometimes?" A boy from Slytherin teased her biting his lips as he let his eyes wander on her boy. The marauders and girls heard him and shot him glares.
Thea rolled her eyes and flipped the boy off at the same time James stooped up from his seat as he yelled at the boy "Watch it Rosier." Thea shot James a warning look and sat down on her seat ignoring the Slytherin boy.
"Why did I insult your little slut, Potter?" Rosier said and before anyone could comprehend his words James had punched the boy square in the face with Cameron pointing his wand at the boy as he cast the bat bogey hex.
Thea watched in horror as the bats from Rosier's nose attacked him. Before his friends could hex Cameron Sirus, Peter and Remus had already disarmed them. The whole breakfast hall watched as Rosier ran to the hospital wing.
"You will pay for this, you blood traitors." Malfoy hissed at the six his eyes then drifted to Thea "And you learn your place soon." he hissed at Thea and then ran off to find his friends.
The whole hall was staring at the six, "What are you all looking at? Go back to your shit." James yelled and the students went back to their usual chatter.
With a smile, she thanked her friends and went back to silently eating her breakfast not making eye contact with anyone. Cameron who was sitting beside her wrapped an arm around her shoulders whispering in her ears.
"You are safe Dora don't worry," he said and kissed her temple keeping an eye on her as she smiled at the gesture. Lily who was sitting beside her offered her a sympathetic smile and squeezed her free hand tightly.
When the Professors were alert about the incident Gryffindor lost 100 points with the five boys receiving two weeks of decision. Slytherin too lost 20 points for foul language and threatening other students.
The rest of the day Thea spent her time attending classes with her friends laughing and smiling the incident was pushed back inside her mind as if it had never happened. More likely she didn't let it affect her.
As their classes got over she found herself with her three friends cleaning trophies with no magic. The four girls joked the whole detention as they tried their best to ignore the aching in their hands.
"We should dirty dance more at 3 in the morning," Thea said grinning when Lily snorted agreeing with her. "I had never felt so free as I did when I dirty dance," Lily said and Alice agreed with her.
"Of course, you are agreeing after you gave Frank a very steamy lap dance." Merlane teased Alice and the four again broke in laughter.
"And James mouth couldn't remain close." Merlane teased Lily as she wiggled her eyebrows at Lily whose face turned red in embarrassment.
Alice threw Thea a worried look but she ignored it laughing along with Merlane if she had to move on from James she should as well stop being jealous.
And that was her first step to move on from James but she knew deep inside her heart that she would never be able to move on from him.
Because James Potter to her was just ethereal and enchanting.
