I was waiting at a new cafe for Y/n to come for our meet up.

We've been dating online for quite some time and now i think it's time we actually met.

Where the hell is she?

I took out my phone and sent her a message on Discord asking her where she was.

"I'm on my way B, there's traffic." she responded.

I sent her a thumbs up and put my phone down again, staring out the window for god knows how long as people walked in and out the big double doors.

-

"Sorry i'm late B, there was so much traffic from my hotel here" Y/n says as she sat across from me.

"It's okay. How are you though, besides the traffic?" i asked her.

"I'm pretty good, minus the nervous feeling i have right now" she says with a small laugh.

"Why are you nervous? It's just me" i said with a slight confused expression on my face.

"I know but it's our first time meeting and it's just kind of makes me nervous seeing you in person" she says.

"I understand. I honestly feel a bit nervous too" i laughed.

"I'm gonna go get something to drink, you want anything?" i ask her as i stood up.

"Just an iced latte please" she says.

I nodded and walked up to the counter, ordering myself an iced coffee and getting Y/n her drink before standing off to the side to wait for them.

The drinks didn't take long to make so when they were done i grabbed them and headed back to the small table.

"Thank you" Y/n smiles as i handed her drink.

"No problem" i said sitting back down.

We sat in silence for a couple of minutes before i decided to answer the question she asked me a couple days ago.

"Y/n, do you remember how you asked me why i always put off meeting you?" i asked.

"Mhm" she nods as she took a sip of her drink.

"Um..well i actually did that because i've always been scared to meet people that i meet online" i said. "So i kept making up excuses to not meet up whenever you asked"

"Billie you should've told me. I would've understood" she said.

"I know but i've had problems with people not liking it so i just lied to you" i said.

"Anyway, enough about that. Do you have any plans later today?" i asked her.

"No, not really, why?" she asks.

"I was wondering if i could show you around L.A. and then maybe watch a movie with you" i said kind of nervously.

"I'd like that" she smiles.

I returned the smile and we continued to drink our coffee and talk about hardly nothing until we decided it was time to leave.
