𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗘

I'm so fucking scared. I'm proposing to my girlfriend tonight and i am really nervous.

I feel like i'm asking a bit too fast since we're both only 23, but we've been dating for 5 years so i feel like it would be a good enough time to ask.

Her family and friends already said i should do it, and so did my family. I'm just hoping she doesn't say no.

-

"Billie, you really didn't need to plan such a fancy date on such short notice" Y/n says as we sat down in the resturaunt.

"I know, i know, but i haven't taken you out in a while and i want to make today special for you. I know you've been working a lot" i say.

"Well thank you, my love. Everyday with you is special though" she smiles.

I return the smile as the waiter comes to our table, taking our drink orders which gave us time to look over the menu.

We both ordered the same thing and waited for our food to come.

As we waited, i felt nervous. I was thinking about the different possibilities that could happen.

What if she says no? That could ruin our whole relationship. It would make things so awkward! I would have to move out, or maybe she would move. We wouldn't be friends anymore. She would probably think i'm weird because-

"Billie!" Y/n's voice brought me out of my thoughts. "I've been calling you for 5 minutes."

"Sorry, i'm just thinking about stuff. What were you saying?" i ask looking at her.

"I was asking if you were alright, you've been off the entire date" she says, a worried expression on her face.

"Mhm, i'm fine. But i wanted to ask you something" i say standing up, she stood up as well.

"Y/n, ever since we've met i've just felt a strong connection to you. I love everything about you, even the things that you don't love about yourself. You're the most perfect girl i've ever met, and i want to spend the rest of my life with you."

Y/n could tell what i was planning as i got down on my knee, taking out the ring and looking up at her.

"Y/n Y/l/n, will you marry me?"

"Yes, i will" she nodded.

I smiled and put the ring on her finger before standing up and kissing her.

Everyone in the resturaunt clapped and cheered for us, including the workers who congratulated us as we left.

This night went better than expected.
