Someone I can trust and love?

Chapter 1

In a world called Daemos lives a 19 year old boy named Noi. Right now he was having an argument with his parents because they want him to marry some random rich man, all because Noi is able to have children so he believes that they just want him to make an heir for that random guy.

Noi: "Mother Father I don't want to marry some random person!"

Noi's Mother: "Why not, if you do, we'll live a good life."

Noi: "But I don't even know that guy!"

Noi's Father: "You'll know him once you're married to him."

Noi couldn't get through to his selfish parents so he ran out of the house crying and ran into the woods close to his house. After all the running, Noi had stopped to catch his breath and he heard some noises in some bushes. He pulled out his weapons to defend himself only to find out that it was his friends, Leif, Rhys, and Asch so he put away his weapons.

Noi: "What are you guys doing here?"

Rhys: "Well we were coming to visit you, but we saw you running out of your home."

Asch: "So we decided to follow you to see if you were alright."

Leif: "So would you mind telling us what the heck happened over there?"

Noi: "Well the thing is..."

Noi explained what had happened with him and his parents which shocked the three.

Leif: "Okay what the hell is with them!?"

Rhys: "It seems that they were using him for their own needs."

Asch: "Their selfish needs that's for sure."

Noi: "I don't know what to do, I just don't want to go back there."

Asch: "Why not run away?"

Leif: "But where is he supposed to go?"

Rhys: "I have an idea."

Noi: "What is it?"

Rhys: "Follow me."

The others followed Rhys to an open area and Rhys pulled out a shard from his pocket.

Leif: "What are you going to do with that?"

Rhys: "Watch."

Rhys threw up the shard and a portal opened up, surprising the others.

Leif: "What the hell?!"

Noi: "Rhys where does that portal lead to?"

Rhys: "It leads to another world."

Asch: "Another world?"

Rhys: "Yes, to a world called Earth." "I've been studying other worlds and with those shards we can open these portals to the other worlds."

Asch: "But couldn't others open these portals to find Noi?"

Rhys: "No, because those shards aren't easy to find, it was lucky for me to find one."

Rhys walked up to Noi and placed his hand on Noi's shoulder.

Rhys: "Noi you should be safe in there, but it's your choice."

Asch: "We can come with you if you want?"

Noi stood there for a second before speaking.

Noi: "No, I'm fine going on my own."

Asch: "Are you sure?"

Noi: "Yes, besides I want you guys to stay out of trouble."

Noi walked up to the portal and looked back at his friends.

Noi: "Thanks you guys."

Asch: "Take care Noi!"

Leif: "Stay out of trouble!"

Rhys: "Be safe!"

Noi nodded and waved goodbye and went through the portal. Soon the portal disappeared right when Noi went in and Noi was taken to what looked like the same woods he was already in.

Noi's mind: "Am I really in another world?"

He looked around and he couldn't see his friends. He decided to walk around to see what he could find.

Noi's mind: "I guess I better look around to see what I find."

After what that had felt like hours Noi was still in the woods all tired from walking.

Noi's mind: "I'm so tired and I still don't know the way out of these woods."

He was getting weak so he fell down and he felt something getting stuck on his leg but he was too tired to see. Before he was about to black out he heard a faint voice in the distance.

???: "Hey are you alright?!"

The person soon saw that Noi was passed out and his left leg was caught in a trap causing it to bleed a bit. They took the trap off of Noi's leg and picked him up and went back to their place to let Noi rest and wrap up his leg to stop the bleeding. As they were walking back they noticed that Noi had horns and wondered why he did, so he decided to ask him once he woke up.

(I decided to re-write these chapters because I'm more used to this way of writing and i was trying another way of writing but i prefer this way.) (And I'm not good at writing in first person.)
