Zane and Pierce tied up Jade so he wouldn't try anything funny when he regained consciousness, while Lucinda and Kawaii Chan went to help Katelyn. Noi was watching while holding Kaisha, and Xinqui was right beside him. He did feel a little bad for destroying Zane’s lab.
Noi: “Sorry for destroying your lab, Zane.”
Zane: “It’s fine.” “There were some moments when my experiments caused a huge mess.” “I can always fix it.”
Noi was glad that Zane wasn’t upset about his lab, then he realized about the others and became worried.
Noi: “Wait, what about the others?”
Pierce: “They were still stunned when we got up, but Aph said it was fine if we went ahead.”
Lucinda and Kawaii Chan came back with Katelyn getting support from Kawaii Chan. Noi went towards them, worried about Katelyn.
Noi: “Katelyn, are you alright!?”
Katelyn: “I’m alright, just waiting for Lucainda’s healing potion to take effect.”
She saw him holding his daughter and was a bit surprised.
Katelyn: “Wait, you already had your baby?”
Noi: “Yeah, I went into labor when Xinqui and I were hiding.”
Katelyn: “But how did you?” “Did someone help you?”
He was about to answer when Xinqui spoke instead.
Xinqui: “Yeah, this lady with pink and blue in her hair helped Papa!”
Katelyn: “A lady with pink and blue in her hair?”
Xinqui: “She said that she knows both Papa and Dad.” “She even knew my name.”
Pierce’s mind: “Did Kat come over here to help save Noi?” “I’ll see if I can talk with her later.”
Zane: “We don’t know anyone like that?”
Pierce: “I know one, but I’ll explain later.” “Right now, we need to get to Aph and the others to see if they’re alright.”
Everyone agreed, but then Katelyn asked something.
Katelyn: “But what about Jade?” “He may be unconscious, but I don’t think we should leave him here.”
Lucinda: “You’re right.” “How about this?”
She walked towards the unconscious Jade and threw him over her shoulder.
Lucinda: “I’ll just carry him like this.”
Katelyn: “Alright, that works, I guess.”
They headed to where the rest of their friends were, and they saw that Jewel was in really bad shape. She was wrapped in bandages and passed out on Aphmau’s lap. They became very worried about her.
Pierce: “What happened to her?!”
Aphmau: “After she got up, she coughed blood and passed out.”
Garroth: “We patched her up, but she still seems in bad shape.”
Lucinda: “Hold on, I’ll make a healing potion real quick and-”
Rhys cut her off.
Rhys: “They won’t have any effect on her.”
Zane: “What?!” “But how?”
Asch: “The bloodline where she’s from mostly gets their healing done from magic.”
Pierce: “Can’t you guys use your magic to heal her?”
