Chapter 18

In Deamos; Asch and the others weren’t aware that Jade was making a spell that would take him the Earth. Leif still kept an eye on Jade but he didn’t know about the spell because Jade rarely went to his lab during the day and as it got late, Leif would head back to Asch and Rhys to report what he saw. A few months passed after the tracking spell was made, and Leif was getting suspicious of Jade because nothing wasn’t happening, and he thought that he’s planning something.

Leif: “I don’t know guys, what if he’s planning something?!”

Asch: “How can you be sure?”

Leif: “After the tracking spell thing, he hasn't done anything else after that!”

Rhys: “But we can’t jump to conclusions without evidence.”

Leif: “But I just have this feeling that he’s definitely planning something.”

Rhys: “But what can you do?” “You can’t risk getting close without getting caught.”

Leif just huffed in frustration since he has a feeling that Jade is up to something but doesn’t have any proof. The two notice his frustration and know that he wants to figure out what Jade may be doing, but they don’t want him to risk getting caught.

Asch: “Leif, we know you want to find out what he's doing.” “But what Rhys said is true, we don’t want you risking getting caught.”

Leif: “You know how careful I can be when it comes to things like this, so I should be fine!”

Rhys: “Maybe you should wait a bit more before you do something reckless.”

Leif: “But what if he does something that puts Noi in danger, and it would be too late to stop him!?”

Asch tried to calm down Leif a bit.

Asch: “We know you’re worried about Noi’s safety, so are we, but we don’t want you getting hurt.”

Leif: “But-”

He was cut off by Asch.

Asch: “Just try to calm down, if you try to do something while being under so much frustration, then you’ll end up getting hurt or something even worse.” “We don’t want anything bad happening to you, Leif.”

Leif took a deep breath and let it go, calming down a bit.

Leif: “Okay fine, I’ll be careful, so I won’t worry you guys.”

Asch: “Good, when you feel frustrated or stressed again, just take a breather to calm down.”

Leif: “Alright.”

Leif’s mind: “But I’m still certain that Jade is up to something, but I don’t know what…”

Back on Earth; Pierce and Noi were getting ready for their baby. Noi would head to Aphmau’s place for some advice from Aphmau on how to raise a baby since she’s the only one that has kids at the moment and she would give him some clothes to wear once he’s further in his pregnancy, while Pierce is at their place with Aaron helping prepare the nursery while also getting some advice too. As the months went by, Noi was already in his eighth month of pregnancy, and the two were excited to meet their baby. They’re right now in their living room on the couch, trying to think of a name for their baby.

Noi: “Do you think any of these names are good for a boy and girl?”

He got a book of names from Aphmau a week ago.

Pierce: “Hm, I like these ones.”

He pointed to two names.

Noi: “Xinqui and Kaisha?”
