Chapter 17

Even after getting married, everything was still the same as usual. And soon another year and a half had gone by, everything was normal, when Noi was hit with sickness that he never felt before. It didn’t feel like it was a serious illness but it still made Pierce worry for Noi’s health. A month went by and Noi wasn’t getting better, but Aphmau and Kawaii Chan came to visit him to see if he’s alright, while Pierce went out to the town to do something.

Kawaii Chan: “Hey Noi Kun, how are you feeling today?”

Noi: “Okay, but I haven’t been able to eat much without throwing up.”

While Noi and Kawaii Chan were talking, Aphmau was thinking about something.

Aphmau: “Hm?”

Noi then noticed.

Noi: “Aph, is something on your mind?”

Aphmau: “Well, I’ve just been thinking.”

Kawaii Chan: “About what, Aphmau Senpai?”

Aphmau: “Noi, you said that this had been going on for a month now right?”

Noi: “Uh yeah?”

Aphmau: “I think I may know the reason why.”

Kawaii Chan: “What is it?”

Aphmau: “I’ve actually felt the same when I was first pregnant with Amber, so it might mean that-”

She was cut off by Kawaii Chan.

Kawaii Chan: “Are you saying that Noi Kun is pregnant?!”

Noi stood there shocked by that statement and his mind was racing with questions.

Noi’s mind: “W-What?!” “I know I can have kids but isn’t too soon?” “What will Pierce think about this?”

Aphmau: “It is a possibility but I’m not 100% sure.”

Noi: “How can you be sure?”

She went into her bag and pulled out a pregnancy test.

Aphmau: “I brought this with me, after what you told us a few weeks ago.”

She handed it to Noi.

Aphmau: “The instructions are on there, so just head to the bathroom while we wait here.”

Noi nodded and went to the bathroom while the girls waited in the living room. After a while Noi came back with the test but he had his head low hiding his expression, which worried the girls.

Aphmau: “Noi, is everything okay?”

Noi showed the test to the girls and they saw that it showed positive. They gasped in surprise.

Aphmau: “It’s positive, that means.”

The two looked up at Noi as he lifted his head up and he was smiling and had small tears in his eyes. The two jumped up and hugged Noi.

Aphmau & Kawaii Chan: “Congrats Noi!”

Noi: “Thank you two.”

Then Pierce came back with some vegetables he got from Mac, hoping to make something that won’t make Noi sick again.

Pierce: “Hey Noi, I’m back.”

He was a bit confused on why the group was hugging.

Pierce: “Um, am I interrupting something?”

The group broke their hug and Noi ran up to Pierce and hugged him, he was taken aback by that and was still confused about the situation.

Pierce: “Woah!” “Noi, what’s going on?”

Noi broke the hug and showed the positive test to Pierce. It took a second to notice what it meant and after realizing, he looked like he was about to burst with joy.

Pierce: “Is this real!?”

Noi nodded and Pierce picked him up and spun around happily as the girls watched. After that, Pierce put Noi down and was happy about the news. Aphmau walked up to the two.

Aphmau: “KC and I will leave you two to it.”

The girls left and the couple were happy to learn that they’re going to start a family together.

Pierce: “I can’t believe that we’re going to meet them so soon.”

Noi: “I can’t believe it too, but I’m glad that we are.”

Pierce: “I’m glad that I meant you, Noi.”

Noi: “And I’m glad that I meant you, Pierce.”

The two smiled and shared a kiss.

Meanwhile back in Deamos, Jade was in his lab making the tracking spell. After many years he got all the ingredients he needed, and now he will find out where Noi had been hiding for all this time. Though he didn’t get the amount he needed for the spell, that didn’t matter to him anymore. Once all the ingredients were in the cauldron, a big cloud of blue smoke came out and it then showed a screen but it was all staticy with things that are hard to make out but what he saw was the portal that Noi came through and then the town and Noi was there happy laughing with people that Jade didn’t know. Then the smoke went away as Jade stood there.

Jade: “So that’s why nobody could find him, it’s because he went to another world.” “But how did he get there?”

He went through his spell book and found a spell that could take him to Earth.

Jade: “I guess he must have used this spell to run away.” “Well he isn’t the only one who can use this spell, luckily I have anything I need for this.” “The downfall is that it’s going to take even longer for this spell to be ready then it would to get the ingredients.”

The book said that the spell this big will take about 1095 or 1460 moon cycles (three to four years) for it to be ready, but he doesn’t care. He went around his lab and got the ingredients, once he did he put it all in the cauldron. Now all he has to do is wait, for him the wait will be worth it just to find Noi and bring him back. With Asch and the others, they were in Rhys’s lab and too put the ingredients in the cauldron and waited for the result.

Leif: “Are you sure this is going to work?”

Rhys: “It should, since we did get all the ingredients.”

Asch: “Guys focused, it's about to finish.”

Just what happened with Jade, a big cloud of blue smoke came out. But unlike with Jade, the screen was clear and they saw Noi coming out of the portal.

Leif: “It seems like Noi got to Earth safely.”

Then it showed Noi walking to the town with Pierce.

Asch’s mind: “Who’s that with Noi?”

(He’s just being like an overprotective sibling or parent.)

Next it showed Noi happily talking with Aphmau and Kawaii Chan, then the smoke disappeared.

Rhys: “It seems that Noi is happy there.”

Asch: “Yeah he was, but who was that guy?”

Leif: “What guy?”

Asch: “The guy that was walking with Noi.”

Rhys: “It could be a new friend that he made while he’s there.”

Leif: “Are you saying that you don’t trust that guy?”

Asch: “What, I’m just saying!”

Leif: “Whatever you say, man.”

(I feel like this was a bit rushed and short, but hey I did the best I could.)
