As the two were walking Pierce was explaining where everyone lives and what they like to do. Mac likes to sell her vegetables, Lucinda has her own work place to practice spells and make potions, Kawaii Chan is planning to open a bakery, and Zane works in a lab under his house to do some science experiments. Noi enjoyed hearing about Pierce’s friends, but he thinks about how his friends back in Daemos are doing.
Noi’s mind: “I wonder how the others are doing back in Daemos…”
Pierce: “Noi are you okay?”
Noi snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Pierce.
Noi: “Huh?” “Oh sorry I was just thinking about something.”
Pierce: “Alright I was just wondering if you were okay since you had a worried expression on.”
Noi: “I’m just fine!”
Noi changed his expression to a happy one, and then he asked Pierce a question.
Noi: “Hey Pierce, why do you live up the hill if all your friends live down here?”
Pierce: “Well I mostly prefer quiet places.” “And mostly Ein is the main reason why.”
Noi: “How so?”
Pierce then told him that he used to live in the town with his friends, but Ein would be causing trouble almost every day, and some of the pranks he pulled were aimed at Pierce. Pierce couldn’t take it anymore and decided to live up the hill since Ein would have to walk up the hill just to prank Pierce and Ein didn’t even bother trying to prank Pierce ever since he started to live up there. Noi was a bit surprised by how Ein is, and he now wants to avoid Ein for now since he doesn't want to be a target for his pranks.
Noi: “Is Ein really like that?”
Aphmau: “I’m afraid so.”
The two turned around to see Aphmau with her family.
Noi: “Oh hi Aphmau.”
Aphmau: “Hey Noi, I like your new clothes.”
Noi: “Thanks, Travis gave them to me.”
Aphmau: “Well like I said about Ein.” “He was always like this.”
Noi: “Really?”
Aaron: “Yup, he can even do some stupid things, which is annoying too.”
Noi: “Then why does he live here?”
Aphmau: “He kinda just appeared out of nowhere in the town one day.”
Aaron: “He told us that he was living a little far from the town, but he can still cause trouble either way.”
Noi: “It must be hard dealing with him?”
Aaron: “Eh, we are kinda used to it by now.”
While Noi was wondering about Ein, one of Aphmau’s kids, Amber was looking at Noi and then asked him something.
Amber: “Are you Pierce’s boyfriend?”
That question made Noi’s face go red, while Pierce had a surprise face with a little red, too.
Pierce: “Um-”
Noi: “W-What?!”
Aphmau was laughing, and Aaron asked his daughter while he was laughing too.
Aaron: “What makes you think that Amber?”
Amber: “They were walking together like how you do with mommy when you two go on a date.” “Plus his face is red like when mommy’s face goes red when you kiss her, daddy.”
Aphmau stopped laughing and then talked to her daughter.
Aphmau: “No they aren’t together, Amber.”
Amber then apologized for assuming that Pierce and Noi were together, while Noi just said it was alright. Soon after, Kawaii Chan ran up to them.
Kawaii Chan: “Noi Kun there you are!”
Noi: “Oh hi again, Kawaii Chan.”
Aphmau: “Hey Kawaii Chan, do you need anything with Noi?”
Kawaii Chan: “Yeah, I came to tell him that I finished baking!”
Noi: “Wait really?”
Aphmau: “Why were you baking Kawaii Chan?”
Kawaii Chan: “So he can try them, Aphmau Chan!” “Come on, Noi Kun!”
Noi: “Woah-!”
Once again, Noi was dragged by Kawaii Chan while Pierce said bye to Aphmau and her family, then followed Kawaii Chan and Noi. After Kawaii Chan brought Noi to her place again, he saw all the sweet Kawaii Chan had mentioned to him before.
Noi: “You really made all of these?”
Kawaii Chan looks proud of herself.
Kawaii Chan: “Yup!” “It only took me an hour and a half!”
Pierce caught up with the two and talked with Kawaii Chan.
Pierce: “You know Kawaii Chan, you don’t have to drag Noi, he can walk, you know?”
Kawaii Chan nervously laughed.
Kawaii Chan: “Sorry about that Pierce Kun.” “I just got too excited, you know?”
Pierce just shrugged since it wasn’t the first time she did that. Kawaii Chan then walked up to Noi, who was looking at all the sweets.
Kawaii Chan: “So Noi Kun, what do you think of these sweets?”
Noi: “Well I don’t know what to try first, they all look good.”
Kawaii Chan thought for a second then grabbed a plate with chocolate cookies.
Kawaii Chan: “How about these cookies?”
Noi grabbed a cookie and ate it. His face lit up with surprise.
Noi: “They’re good!”
Kawaii Chan smiled and Noi tried the other sweets that were there and he enjoyed them all. Soon later Pierce and Noi left the town and headed back to Pierce’s home but as they were walking up the hill, Pierce asked Noi something.
Pierce: “Hey Noi?”
Noi: “Yeah?”
Pierce: “Do you want to live in the town with the others?”
Noi: “Well they are nice minus Ein.” “But I like being with you Pierce, and I think you would like some company there.”
Pierce slightly smiled
Pierce: “Yeah I believe that I would like your company Noi.”
