Chapter 25

Jade swung his scythe at Jewel, but she quickly jumped out of the way to dodge it. The others tried to attack him, but he would block their attacks. He was only focusing his attacks on Jewel. She was able to block and dodge his attacks, but she won’t be able to keep up for long. Leif was getting annoyed that Jade was only attacking Jewel.

Leif: “Why the heck is he only attacking Jewel?!”

Rhys: “I have no idea.”

Aphmau wanted to help Jewel.

Aphmau: “Well we have to help her!”

Kawaii Chan: “But he keeps blocking our attacks.” “What can we do?”

Garroth: “I say we all attack him at once!”

Asch: “Let's do it, cause I don’t think that Jewel can keep up with his consent attacks.”

They looked at the siblings and saw that Jewel was starting to get a bit tired. She tries to get a few hits with her bat, but he keeps on dodging and blocking. They all agree to do Garroth’s idea to try by some time for Jewel to rest. Once they tried to attack him at once; Jade spun his scythe around, hitting a few of them while the others used their shields. Luckily, the ones who got hit, their wounds weren’t deep. Jewel was running out of breath, and she got down on the ground to catch her breath while Pierce tried to help support her so she wouldn’t faint.

Pierce: “Jewel, are you okay?”

Jewel: “Y-Yeah, I’m just out of breath…” “I may be strong, but my brother is stronger than me…”

Lucinda called out to them.

Lucinda: “You guys, here!”

She threw some potions at them. It was a mixture of healing, speed, and strength. Everyone got one of them and quickly drank it while being careful of Jade. He stopped focusing only on Jewel and decided to attack the others. Thanks to the potions that Lucinda gave them, they were able to dodge his attacks, and some were able to get a few hits, too. They thought that they would be able to defeat Jade when he got mad and yelled out.

Jade: “GET OUT OF MY WAY!!”

He raised his scythe and struck it in the ground, causing everyone to get an electric shock. It didn’t kill anyone, but it was really painful and left them stunned on the ground. Jewel tried getting up while struggling to speak.

Jewel: “I-I thought you d-didn’t use m-magic…”

Jade laughed sinister, and he put his scythe on his shoulder.

Jade: “Stupid brat, you thought that I only used my scythe?” “Well I guess you thought that after disappearing for many years.”

Everyone tried getting up and their weapons, but couldn’t due to that attack Jade did. Jade walked towards Lucinda and grabbed one of her potions, and drank it to heal himself.

Jade: “I should thank you for this potion.” “It really has a great effect.” “Now then.”

He reached into his pocket and pulled out his own potion.

Jade: “I was hoping that the teleportation spell would take to him right away, but it didn’t, which is why I have this.”

Pierce was trying his hardest to get up while he spoke to Jade.

Pierce: “W-What are you gonna do with t-that?”

Jade: “Oh this?” “It’s a bit of the teleportation spell with a bit of tweaking I did.” “With just a drop of this, it will now teleportate me right to him!”
