"One hundred a twenty thousand dollars, that's how much is just sitting inside that safe, is that what you're telling us?" Kori asked as she sat down in a restaurant beside her sister.
"yes, in crisp pristine condition notes, just sitting in the safe waiting for someone to come steal it."
The sisters nodded and stood up, "thank you."
The moon was high in the night sky as two fires ducked in and out of the shadows. They pressed their bodies flat against the large white walls of the fence as a team of guards walked through the area. They waited for the guards to pass before running over to the building's wall.
"We'll climb over by the west side,"
The two figures dashed around the building in the shadows and made their way up the building's side till they got to the roof.
Kori sat on the roof of the luxury mansion dressed in a black body suit. She blended in with the night sky effortlessly as she removed roofing tile after the other slowly and carefully. She finally cleared a big enough space for her and her teammate to slip into the building unnoticed. She pulled out a small torch light and held it in her mouth. She motioned for her teammate to come over. The two burglars snuck into the roof of the building using the rafters as supports.
They turned on thier flash lights and searched around for the false service panel, their entrance into the mansions floors.
"K!" Her teammate whisper yelled, "over here," the other female crouched and moved the false ceiling out from it's position. She placed it to the side.
Kori grinned, "good work sis," she grinned and hung herself by the rafters over the new hole before letting herself drop to the ground below on all fours. She took a few steps forward and checked the surrounding area for anyone walking around. She turned her torch upwards and flashed the it's light twice, "all clear sis."
The second burglar dropped down from above and landed on all fours though with slightly less elegance. They hardly made a sound with how light on their feet they were, the seventeen year old scanned the hall way again before letting go of the breath she was unconsciously holding.
Kori helped Wumi to her feat and the two made their way to their target, the large safe in the building's hidden study. They had planned this heist for more than two months, Kori knew the floor plan like her catwoman comics.
"Straight down the hall and a left at the 'T' then down the stairs to the hall way, the study is on the right opposite the the reception hall." She muttered under her breath repeatedly as she led her sister through the quiet halls of the house. The two sisters got to the large white mahogany doors of the reception room and turned around. The single white door of the study stood before them, kori imagined a gold light shining around it in her head.
The sisters walked to the door. Wumi pulled out bobby pins from her pockets and crouched I front of the door. Kori backed her sister and stood watch. Wumi pushed the pins into the lock and manipulated it open.
"We're in," she whispered and pushed open the door slowly. She stood up and walked into the room she turned on her torch and scanned the area for any thing that suggested it was a safe or hiding one.
Kori held her self from screaming in frustration, they had been searching for half an hour and they still hadn't found the safe. Wumi stood in the middle of the room and scanned the room. Her eyes stopped at the thick wooly curtains that seemed a bit too dusty if they were opened often.
"Hey K," she flapped her hands in the air, "was there supposed to be a third window in this room?"
Kori walked towards the dusty curtains, "no, I only noted two," she pushed the curtains aside and met a blank wall, "sis, did dad say anything about blank walls to you?" She scratched her head and groaned.
