"Hallelujah!" The church cried in response as the pastor drew the service to a close, the power of revival surging through them as they made their way towards the exits to engage in small talk with family friends and all of that. It was the last service of the day so no one was really in a rush.

Ada made his way through the large manicured lawns and pathways to the church shop ready to buy his weekly supplies. He had made sure to park his sedan in the parking spot right by the shops entrance, he really didn't fancy carrying his supplies that long a distance to the main auditorium's parking spaces. The sounds of a talking drum playing from the shops speakers pulled him back into a holy mood as the accumulated heat from the sun was dissipated immediately by the air conditioning. He sighed in content, the presence was truthfully here amongst all these spiritual items and resources.

Ada greeted the receptionist with a wave and broad smile plastered on his face as he whistled along to the tune of the song playing. She responded with a wave and smile of recognition, after all he came here every Sunday, it practically would be considered a sin not to remember a face like his. He walked to the book section to bask in the abundance of spiritual knowledge in his face, he really wished he had more money on him today but the books would have to wait, what he came here for was far more important.

He dropped the book he'd been considering and walked deeper into the shop. The last sections of the shop was were the really good items were kept because of the large traffic they pulled, everyone always wanted the power in them. Ada chuckled as he remembered how he'd been stuck in line for almost an hour during one of the special discount Sundays.

"Hello, good morning," the sales clerk greeted from behind the security grate as he walked into the new section, the poles were very thin and a bit spaced out but he couldn't help but wonder if she felt like she was in a prison.

"Good morning, God bless you," Ada replied, his smile as broad as it could be, he had to radiate joy in such a pure and holy environment.

The clerk stood up from her seat behind the security grates and brought out her note pad ready to take his order, the way she looked at him as usual made him a bit uncomfortable but it could have just been her mascara today.

"What would you be buying today?" she eyed him for a while then smiled, "sir?"

Heat rushed to his face and he felt a bit dizzy for a few seconds. He composed himself and smiled back, she wouldn't take his victory today, "I'd like ten bags of water, three bottles of anointing olive oil, a bottle of communion wine and a pack of communion wafers." He watched how her delicate hands glided over the pad and he couldn't help but imagine... he held himself before he lost the war to the devil, "could you please add a bottle of vinegar to that too?" He just hoped she had heard him as she walked off, might he add like a queen so he really didn't fancy being the reason she had to stress herself in going back again to complete his order.

She turned around and smiled at him, it sent shivers down his spine. He couldn't even be sure if this game was real or not. It was an innocent smile he was reading too much into.

He sang along in his head to the songs playing on the speakers as he waited, he had never been much of a dancer but he could at least Bob his head to the music. He chuckled as he remembered his mom almost popping a nerve when he was younger because he wouldn't dance during praises. It took quite a while for her to let the issue rest.

"Would you care to share what you're laughing about," he heard her voice right beside his ears. His eyes popped open with a gasp and it took the grace for him not to make a bigger fool of himself as he almost lost his footing. She grinned like a Cheshire cat as she watched him, she noted that he still smelled like honey and olives.
