"147,"
"148,"
"149,"
"150,"The barbell landed on the floor with a bang, the foam padded floors did nothing to absorb the impact, "finally done for the day," Zogie breathed as he flexed his muscles then crumbled to the floor. He let out a long breath of air, his hour long workout had done a number on him today. It had been a while since he did planks and his abdominal muscles were on fire and the situation could only get worse with the spaces heat. The heat of the late morning wasn't in anyway dulled by the outdoor gyms roofing or the large fan he had turned on. He was sweating buckets enough to fill one of those drums drinks were put in during parties.
"Zoggy," his younger sister called as she walked into the room, "are you dead?" She kicked his leg till he groaned.
"What do you want second pest?" Zogie groaned with a euphoric smile on his face as he pulled himself into a sitting position.
His sister flipped him a bird with a huge grin on her face,
"the signs of impending catastrophic evil," that's what 'pest one' said with his arms spread wide anytime she got that look.
Zogie could only groan as the fourteen year old tapped her feet impatiently. He really needed to keep her way from his workout music and Efosa's dark anime, she was moving towards anarchy and violence from what he could see.
He stood up and looked at her, "what do you want goldie?," She smiled when she realized he didn't call her by her Bini name.
"Mommy wants you to take me to debbie's house for her party so you need to go bathe and stop smelling like a mixture of grizzly and gorilla,"
"Why can't Efosa take you, where's he?"
"He's missing, so you're the only one available," she watched him make his way to the door, "also dress fine in something a bit revealing, you're supposed to be eye candy for the ladies."
Zogie couldn't help but laugh, he turned around and motioned for her to come closer. He put his hand on her hair and ruffled it, "you can't pimp a pimp baby girl," she pouted for a bit but her grin returned as they walked back into the house.
"Challenge accepted," she yelled as she ran into the house before him to go and get ready.
The product of two elder brothers, zogie facepalmed he didn't know if he should be proud or alarmed. He climbed the stairs and walked to his room, he didn't think he'd be 25 and still babysitting he really needed to get angry at some irrelevant thing and make a rash decision to move out of the house already, Efosa could handle the rest of the babysitting and sporadic shopping sprees. He got into the bathroom and washed off the grime of the workout. He planned what he'd need to do to start moving his plans forward. He needed everything to be accurate and specific. His calculations couldn't be wrong or else he'd risk everything.
He walked out of the bathroom and opened his dresser, one of the doors had been converted into a pin board of locations, dates and names. He chuckled the first one was so rough it was a wonder they managed to pull it off. Too bad he wouldn't be able to do it like last time. The variables were still too erratic.
He pulled out a V-neck with redundant buttons and short slits on the chest and sides, goldie called them ventilation. If she wanted to pimp him out he'd oblige her but he was the one gonna be doing the real pimping. He didn't mind giving the teens something to dream about but he had plans for the female chaperones who would accompany the other friends.
"Hi I'm Blue," he said to the mirror as he finished brushing his beards, "what's yours?" Sometimes it was good to just keep it simple and precise. Right on the dot between being classy and a smooth operator.
He pulled on his favorite pair of sneakers and picked his phone and pods from his bedside table. He walked out of the room and went down the stairs.
Mrs Adun stood before her daughter probably giving her a list of things to do and not do. Zogie doubted the list would make much of a difference, she was smart usually and when she was Efosa seemed to always come out of the shadows and knock sense back into her. He was like a correction ninja.
"Okay last card, let's get out of here," he called as he picked the car key from the key rack in the kitchen, and made his way to the door.
He started the car and pushed the horn, he pulled it out of the parking space and turned it to face the gate. Goldie ran out of the house and opened the gate. He drove out and she got in after locking it back.
They started their cross city drive to the birthday party with the youngest Adun acting as the playlist manager. Zogie cringed when she sang along to some of the songs and he hoped that most of the meanings were flying over her.
"Ehen," he turned the volume down, "I haven't seen pest 1 today where did he go?"
"I think he went looking for love again," they both laughed, at how unlikely it was for him to finally score a win if he did what he usually did, "all I saw him do this morning was pick his kindle and phone then drive out after eating a slice of bread.
"Fingers crossed for the bookworm then," zogie chuckled, "I'm going to need you to give me back my kindle though," he said pointing to her purse which couldn't seem to close
The little angel looked at him and a huge grin appeared on her face and he couldn't help but picture Efosa with his arms spread wide.

The computer screen dimmed as it finished shutting down,
"I found one brother," Efosa walked into the room with his hands behind his back.
"A girlfriend?" Zogie chuckled as he turned his swivel chair around, "I guess I'll have to pay goldie the money I placed on the bet."
"She's not my type so no," the younger male chuckled, "but she's a perfect piece for the new operation."
"Why do you say so?" Zogie leaned forward with a smile on his face.
"My eyes never fail me brother, I've got a good hunch she can grow into a good operative," he sat down on the bed, "besides she likes the prince too."
Zogie laughed, "you're way too silly to be put in charge," he pulled a book from one of the stacks on his table, "you sure you're on point with this decision," he looked his brother in his eyes.
"Yes, she's the one for it,"
"Okay I guess we have ourselves a vixen," he scribbled some words in the book and returned it.
Efosa chuckled, "you don't have to be all serious you know?" He rubbed his hairless chin.
Zogie stood up and walked to his brother, and leaned down till he was at eye level, "Efosa Greywulf Adun, you really need to cut your hair," he gave his brother a warm smile and ruffled his hair.
