IT TOOK PETER A MINUTE before he could regain what was left of his strength. Peter was scared, scared of what was going to happen next, scared of what was going to happen to him, to May. Peter struggled while trying to sit up straight, his right hand was supporting and lifting his left side up. "May? May, May, I'm here."

Eden ached with exhaustion, her muscles had tightened and cramped with pain as she stays where she is and watched as May and Peter met halfway.

May wasn't in good shape, she wobbled as she walked. A few minutes passed as she kept watching May and Peter interact. Eden stands, frozen in place, as she watches May and Peter embrace.

Her mind is racing, spinning with worry about what's going to happen next. She can feel the guilt and fear building up inside her, a knot forming in her stomach. She knows Matt will be worried sick about her, and she can't bear the thought of facing him and having to explain what's happened.

"I don't know what to do," Eden whispers to herself. "How am I going to get out of this? How am I going to keep everyone safe?" Her hands shake, and her heart races. She feels like she's drowning in the weight of the situation, and she doesn't know how to tread water.

"Oh," May finally reached Peter and they hugged each other tightly.

"This is all my fault, May," Peter sighs and stands next to May, watching as the last pieces of debris reach the floor.

"I should have let Strange send them back."

"No. You did the right thing. They would've been killed. You did the right thing."

"Peter..." Eden took a few steps towards the two, her hair was tangled, and her face was covered in dust, dirt, and blood.

"Eden! You're okay, you're okay. Why didn't you run when I told you to?" Peter held onto Eden's arms and looked her in the eyes. He felt horrible that she had gotten in the middle of his mess.

"That wouldn't have been a fair fight, Parker. Plus, I...I care about you, and May. I may just be Mr. Murdock's assistant, but hell, I'd consider us friends by now."

Peter chuckles and nods his head slowly, "Yeah...yeah.

"May? You alright?" Eden steps aside and looks over at May.

"Yeah. Let's...let's get outta here. Let me catch my breath,"  Eden can see that May was about to fall and she does her best to catch her just before she lands.

"May?" Eden looks over May's body, looking for signs of external bleeding and any serious injuries. Peter looks at Eden with a desperate hope in his eyes, but she can see the fear there too. May's breathing is shallow, and she's pale and clammy.

Eden knows that the signs aren't good. She puts a gentle hand on Peter's shoulder, trying to convey some sense of comfort, even though she knows it's not enough.

"Parker..." Eden glances over at Peter, her eyes becoming glossy as she realizes what's happening. Eden couldn't imagine what Peter was thinking, where his mind was going. She could see his facial expressions slowly fading. Panic and sadness filled his eyes.

Eden moves so Peter can get a better look at May, he holds her head and brushes a few strings of hair out of her face. "You're okay. You're okay."

"It's just me and you...May?" Peter's eyes are pools of anguish and guilt, and Eden knows that he's blaming himself. He's thinking about all the times he's put his aunt in danger, all the times he's risked her safety to be Spider-Man. She reaches out and takes his hand, trying to offer some comfort, but she knows it's not enough.

"You didn't do this," she says firmly. "It's not your fault, Peter. You have to focus on what you can do now." But she can see the doubt in his eyes, the guilt weighing him down.

Eden inhales sharply, her head sinking into her chest. She knows that sooner or later they're going to have to move, but she keeps quiet a little longer so Peter can have a moment.

"Peter... we gotta go," Eden's voice quivers and she reaches her hand out for Peter to take. The sirens outside got louder and louder as she waited for his touch.

Eventually, Peter takes her hand and the two of them make their way to a spot where it's nothing but silence and serene.
