EDEN AND PETER sat on the roof for a little longer before MJ and Ned showed up. MJ went straight to Peter and wrapped him in a half hug. Eden watches with a sinking feeling in her stomach as MJ embraces Peter. It's like a knife in her heart. She wants to be the one to comfort him, but she knows she can't. The guilt is almost suffocating.

"Peter? There are some people here," Peter quickly stands up and looks at the top of the building. Two figures jump down and it startled Eden. She stands up as well.

"Sorry...about May."

"Yeah, sorry."

Eden glances over at Peter with a puzzled look. One of them has the same suit on as him and the other one has normal clothes. Peter seems to have a relationship with these two strangers that Eden knows nothing about. Her curiosity is piqued - who are they, and why are they dressed like Spider-Man?

"What... who the hell are you?" Eden asks, her eyes darting between the two.

"I've got... some understanding of what you're going through..."

"No, no you don't. You have no idea what I'm going through so don't try and understand. She died, for nothing. And I'm sorry that I dragged you into this, but I'm sending you home."

"Peter, wait. Listen, maybe they can help," Eden turns to face Peter, his eyes are stuck on the box that MJ is holding.

"My uncle Ben was killed. It was my fault."

"I lost...Gwen. My, um... She was my MJ, I couldn't save her. I'm never going to be able to forgive myself for that. But I carried on, tried to, um, try to keep going. To keep being the um, the friendly neighborhood spider-man cause I know that's what she would've wanted."

There was pause after the man spoke.

"The night Ben died... I hunted down the man that I thought did it. I wanted him dead. I got what I wanted. It didn't make it better. It took me a long time to learn to get through that darkness."

"Peter... we should..."

Peter nods, he knows that eventually he'll need their help, and that he can't do this without them.

And in just a few minutes, the six of them are in the schools science lab room working on whatever can help them take down these villains. The villains that ruined their lives.

The three of them got to work immediately, Ned was with the older Peter and Eden was with the younger Peter. MJ sat with their Peter, Eden sneakily watched as the two interacted. She tries to focus on the task at hand, but her mind keeps wandering. She can't help but wonder what the other Peter is thinking about her

"You have someone?" The older Peter asks the two of them.

"Heh, no. Don't really have time with Peter Parker stuff."

Eden answers next; she shrugs, "Not necessarily. I'd like to eventually. What about you?"

"Uh, it's a little complicated."

Eden and Peter nod understandingly, "I get it. I'm in the same boat, I think."

Both Peters smile knowing what she means, "You like him?" The younger Peter questions, a slight smile appears on his face.

"It's...complicated. I've always felt this spark between us when we first met through my boss, but then there's this other guy who Ive known my whole life. Every time I see him I get all giddy... sorry you probably didn't wanna know about my love life," Eden chuckles, shakes her head and starts back to working on her project.

"It's okay. I'm the one who asked. Have you talked to the two of them about how you feel?"

"I tried telling Peter... before the two of you came to the roof. Um, I wanted to say it but he rejected the idea. He told me he couldn't do that to MJ but that he felt something too."

"What about the other guy?"

She sighs, "This is the first time I've seen him in years. I can't just put that on him."

"Oh. I'm sorry, I hope things work out for you."

"Thanks. Me too."

"Guys? I think we got it..."
